thank you so much for this tutorial and thorough explanation, i bought a fog light kit for my mom's pathfinder about 3 years ago and I never did the job because i was so unsure of how to do it. But now I plan on tackling this project soon!

Is the fuse splitter necessary to connect the red wire or is there another way to connect it?
If I have a fog switch in my lights control base, what should I do to connect it to the switch?
