"Well, we're almost ready for testing. We've got dirt, kitchen grease, dust, ketchup, and tar. Now we just need red wine. For some reason, that always seems to go quicker whenever Meredith conducted the previous day's tests. Must be her fanatical dedication to appliance evaluation."
My brand new MAYTAG (Christmas 2023) has needed the repair guy 3x so far, it constantly tells me “no water supply” when there definitely is, so I have to fill it manually- but worst, it wraps my jeans, sheets and towels so tightly around the “power agitator” you can barely untangle them! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Haha right?? No- now they have to assess whether they *actually* wash clothes. Which, with as little water as they are allowed to use, how could they? Cheers for being “efficient”
I’m a Maytag and Whirlpool guy. Still have some running twenty years now. Both washer and dryer performing well.
My Whirlpool worked for more than 10 years. I replaced it with an LG.

Does this list include "portable units?"

Great info! Thanks
I think the more important test should be one that doesn't break down.😅
Problem is government regulations make it difficult to sell reliable products and CR loves them government regualtions.
They test that too, ya know.
The madia and insignia are made in the same factory
DO YOU DO REVIEWS ON PORTABKE WASHERS?
I have an LG front load washer and dryer pair that I got back in 2013. Both do a great job, and I only had to do one repair on the washer.
Mate what on earth happened to your official laundry guy?
I want maximum water and agitation
Do they even talk about the machines reliability anymore

Front load IMHO are way superior.
Top loaders actually wash better. FACT
