I feel this song is talking about archer when he was shirou and his timeline's saber he couldn't save like fate shirou... feels bad, archer really is a goated deep character
If you say your my ideal I will correct that ideal with my own hand I am the bone of my sword Steel is my body And fire is my blood I have created over a thousand blade Unknown to death Nor known to life Have withstood pain to create many weapons, yet these hand will never hold Anything So as i pray.... Unlimited.. BLADEWORKS!
This body shall become a Sword Iron is my blood Mirror is my heart I have overcome countless battlefield Never once retreating Never once gaining victory The bearer lies here, alone Forging iron in a hill of swords Thus, this life of mine needs no meaning This body shall become Infinite Swords
Maaaan i found this song again after 14 years cos i autoplay my video today after youtube play anata ga ita mori. When this episode play out on 2006, this ending song hit my feels so hard that day. Besides emiya died cos of heracles, i was just broke up with my ex that day. Man such a feel T-T
It isn't as if he wished for a world without conflicts. He just want those he could see to not lose their lives and smiles. He managed to save 1, then his capacities grew. 10 after 1, 100 after 10. And then who knows how many? But at the same time, the ghost of those he didn't manage to save kept on haunting him. The people he trampled to save the few. Sometimes the few he had to sacrifice the many. They kept on haunting him. He started to feel like a hypocrite who kept on going back on his own words. The ideal he admired, which started his dreams, started to be a nightmare. He did manage to become a guardian, but the feelings he had were not his own anymore. He started to lose sight of his dreams, of his ideals, as he was kept on to be forced to shoulder towards the crimes that the entire humanity did. Yet he didn't have any way out anymore. He was stuck in there forever.
I straight-up prefer the Deen "Fate stay/night" to ufotable's "Unlimited Blade Works", no apologies. UBW is visually superior, but the dialogue is incredibly redundant and dull, and it leans into some cringey Naruto-ness in its fight scenes, which is a double "no thank you" from me. To each their own, of course.
The Deen anime soundtrack always was so romantic - from beginning to end)
despite all the songs that came to fate franchise, this is still one of the best for me, along with Kimi to Ashita
Finally. Now there's finally an easy to find high quality version of the full song with lyrics

did you at least kill your ex 6 times?
You are the Best Forever and ever! thanks for coming back and give us these awesome songs/videos ! :)
I always felt Fate/Stay Night songs had a very nostalgic or rather classy tone. Maybe is because the time passed and music changed but idk :/
This kind of song was definitely far more prevalent in early 2000s anime.
Listen to these and then go listen to the final fantasy 9 soundtrack. Not identical, but a lot of the same energy.
things people who hate the deen fate will miss
jokes on you, I listen to ost but i'm not watching deen (vn reader btw.)

anyone still remember?
Am I the first comment here?
Indeed.
I don't care what anyone says. The soundtrack alone puts the Deen fate on par(barely though) with ufotable.
Rather it's the only redeeming thing from that version.
