Breast Cancer Diaries: (#16) CT scan results are in...

The cough is back, and with my resting heart rate increasing from 73bpm to 96bpm in just three weeks I knew that something was up so I called Barts who decided that I needed to go in for investigations. It turns out that along with some more fluid building up in my lungs, I also have an infection and a blood clot! I had my CT scan as an inpatient and got the results - unfortunately it's the end of the road for me & Eribulin :( I thought me and the sea sponge were doing so well!
I'm having a permanent lung drain fitted which will make things much more manageable, and I have some decisions to make about next steps treatment-wise...
