That’s a good video you made sir. I’ve been looking for an inexpensive seeder for sweet corn. I like the way it covers the seed and having a wide back wheel. I’ve decided to go with the Chapin.
Thanks for making this video, I've been looking at seeders for awhile. i think I've made up my mind now. Chapin seems like the best bang for my buck so far.
About to break mine out again. Need to plant some Bush beans, corn and other goodies. Since it is only me and the wife and we are not land locked I think I am going to space my rows 4 feet apart for everything but the corn. May even do it for that. I will be starting to use using weed barrier this year and I do not want to burn holes to plant but rather have a open strip down the row that I can run the seeder. Just happens that 4 foot spacing works with my tiller, tractor setup to make the rows,
Louisiana Tractorworks & Projects : I think so. Now if I will have the breath to push it. Probably do one row then take break before doing the next row.

forthehorde Just so you know, the row spacing marker is worthless. I will be removing it from mine. The Earthway’s row marker is not any better.
@@PoorMansDIY thanks for the info.
Thank you for this vid. Just picked one up. Blessings 🇨🇦
