You need to stop feeding your digimon when it is not asking for food, that is why its discipline keeps dropping. Scolding your digimon for no reason will drop happiness more than it raises discipline, same idea with praising your digimon when the situation doesn’t call for it. So unless you want to turn your rookie into Nanimon you shouldn’t be scolding or praising your digimon when it is uncalled for. The weight requirement for digivolution has a leeway of 5 going either way, e.g. with 50 weight requirement you can still get away with having between 45 to 55 weight.
