Overall this gets my vote as the most impressinve RC aircraft I've seen on TH-cam. Everything about it is great - choice of subject, quality of build and finish, the sound (best sound I've heard), the photography and the flying skills. Congratulations to all involved, wonderful job.
Superb ... the weathering really adds to the authenticity, as does the low camera angle when taxying. Good to see one in the air again .... the pride of us Brits' aircraft design. We used to make good aircraft .... :-(
No jet will never look as good as a fighter of the Second World War , the prettiest of the lot is of course the Spitfire but the Typhoon and Tempest were a close second and the fire power of those two was colossal with its cannons and rockets. That rc is a real beauty and sounds as good as it looks.
Hi, beautiful aircraft, and realistic flight 👍 just a question, I always thought the Tempest was equipped with the inline engine Napier Sabre. What was that radial engine on the real Tempest ? What dates and specs ?
Of course, this is the model of the Hawker "Sea Fury", these were produced in 1945-55. Unlike the "Tempest" with the liquid-cooled engine "Napier Sabre II" , the "Sea Fury" was equipped with an air-cooled engine "Bristol Centaurus XVIII". I wonder how they can not understand that they had copied ???

It looks very real in the air.A well-worked Tempest project.
The sound of the engine is very good!

Beautiful landing!!! It looks much better with the 4 blade prop!
That sound! Glorious!
Great build and even greater flying skills. Landing and take off that is. Great job!
It’s very rare to see someone able to hold centerline. Very nicely done.
This looks like the real deal. Absolutely stunning.
Great take off, great model, great landing.
Well done!
Amazing engine and the plane sounds awesome!

Late war British aircraft are just incredible.

It’s a Tempest II with original having a Bristol Centaurus radial engine.
Best rc ever
WOW! VERY IMPRESSIVE !
Amazing!
Awesome!! 👏
That is bad ass sounding
This is the Tempest I would fly/buy..
What brand of propeller is that?
Stephen Benson looks like a Solo Prop....soloprops.com
Tempest or Sea Fury?
Sea fury ... WTF
It's a Tempest Mk2. Used the same Bristol Centaurus engine as the Sea Fury, but was a predecessor of the Fury.
Its a sea fury not a tempest
