I absolutely love your designs I wish you posted more. All your spaces are so calming and tranquil even though they might be different styles. Amazing!
@@apriltomlininteriors2609 As a new subby, I agree! Maybe do come thrift/shop with me videos if you have no content. It's a pity there aren't enough designers as good as you.
I totally agree! I love April Tomlin's projects and would love to see more videos: both of finished projects and process pieces, and behind the scenes.
I get such inspiration from April and the work she does. Each home on here is magnificent. I'm an interior designer and buyer at a furniture and home store and I get such joy out of all of your projects. Thank you!
These videos are the best. Not rushed and very detailed. I love that you mix thrifted finds as well. Please do more videos, it's rare to actually see amazing work from a real professional designer🙏
I am absolutely blown away. I love that you are located in Nashville! Your design style is quite progressive for this part of the country, which is so refreshing. I hope you start posting more of your work! It's incredible.
I never thought anything could come close to Unearthed, but this house is absolutely gorgeous!! The master bedroom was a slam dunk. I love the vintage feel of this house, especially with the fireplace and the couch. Forever in awe of your talent, April!
That's a 10/10 Oh Wow I love the different texture, the mixed of used and new furniture and also I feel like the inspiration was like a Southern California home.....
I am showing this video to my contractor; this is the most PERFECT house I have ever seen and I'd love to emulate the colors and textures that you use! Honestly, you are simply a visionary!!!
This is absolutely stunning. Love the greens and vintage pieces. The title flooring and tub in bathroom are gorgeous! Also, the findings room ?!? Are you kidding- brilliant 😍.
You are such an inspiration and a visionary! And it sure as hell doesn't hurt that you are real, grounded, and so genuine- these qualities come through in your designs.
Fantastic home! Could you give us some basic demonstrations of your rooms so we can understand your play with scale? Livingroom, kitchen and Master areas?
How did I miss this.. I couldn’t even get through the unearthed house video without stopping to catch my breath and here you’ve done it again. The details, the details are so beautifully executed. I had to stop to look at every unique lighting fixture. The sliding panels with wallpaper behind shelves ..come on.. so smart, unexpected and beautiful. I loved the kitchen of course - you slayed! I don’t even know how I can pick a favorite but the sitting room might hold me captive. I would never want to leave.
Oh April. I'm just in love with your designs. You create so much interest in the space! Attention to all the details, the tones, textures, hardware it's just beyond. It feels so homey and warm but also architecturally interesting. As you go through all the rooms I just imagine all the conversations, kids running around, people laughing, freshly brewed coffe and crafted cocktails. Outdoor space is just stunning. I don't think I've ever seen pool more beutiful it's so perfectly integrated into the landscape. Even though you're using concrete and stone materials it's not cold. It's warm and inviting. I have only one question, In main kitchen, where range is located, do you think wood sides will withstand the heat from the stove while cooking? I recently had to deal with similarly located range as it burned the sides becuse it was to close. Thank you for this video. It made my evening and congratulations on this beutiful project. 🤍
Thank you so much. Those sides of the range actually open up. So they are only closed when you aren’t cooking and want the kitchen to look put together ❤️❤️❤️
@@apriltomlininteriors2609 that's pretty genius! Would love to see the hardware and how it operates. Thank you for your answer and Happy New Year! Many more wonderful projects! 🎉
There are numerous markets around the country for interior store owners or designers to go and sit in vendor pieces themselves or shop for one of a kind things for a large discount. ❤️
I think that might be more video editing than the home itself- like the grand living room has double volume windows and lots of light but still comes of dark?
@@rumzrumz3799 The colour grading certainly doesn't help but it's pretty obvious by the colour scheme and the lack of natural light coming through that the house does look that way.
She usually doesn't have the interior lights on when she does home tours...not sure if it's due to casting shadows on the video or not but she's consistent (or her videographer is) in not turning on the lights for home tours. So, it's understandable that some sections of the house will be dimmer if it's shadowed by trees (or clouds)...
Abril Cambie el color del filtro azul o celeste de la filmacion... La da un color tan apagado y triste , que no permite apreciar en la realidad como son, sus hermosos diseños. Cambie el filtro, por uno más realista a la realidad.❤
April I enjoy you style aesthetic and decor; however, to feature a bedroom sitting room with a “BLACKAMOOR” candle holder and call the room “artistic” is not only offensive to viewers like myself but it also says a lot about you as a Christian. If that is what you/your clients ‘like’ - keep it private. To publicly post / ‘reveal’ in a video under the pretense of the “sitting area being cozy and artistic” (your words) is REALLY disappointing 😮 (yet for some reason not surprising) 😢.
That is one of the clients vintage candle sticks. You need to get your eyes checked. I had to look up what a blackamoor even is. Also, I have no desire to defend my Christianity because being a Christian means I am saved by the actual grace of god, not because I am perfect. But you should check your spirit if you feel the need to jump on and be angry with a stranger and accuse them of putting something in their designs that’s not even in there. With all respect, I hope you have a good day. And if me doing something terrible doesn’t surprise you, by all means don’t follow along. ❤️
@@a.kaiser8965 what does it matter - it's relevant to the client(s) and they allowed them to provide a video tour for the benefit of the public so it's ok to be gracious and accept that not everything is about the viewer's personal preferences given how generous the homeowners are in providing such a detailed tour.

100% agree! You can really tell that each project is so authentically designed for the home owners. Love to see it! :)
I love this! So moody but not dingy or creepy at all! Would love to live there! Absolutely gorgeous and it looks both designer and cozy!
So excited to finally have another video. Your style is the epitome of mine. Well put, but has that earthy and southern charm intertwined. 🤍

SPECTACULAR.
I love your work but only wish that you all would turn on the lights in the homes so that we could get a better feel of them. ❤
Stunning… incredible space. Can you share the details about the outdoor furniture, specifically the rockers… where are you finding such great pieces?
Hello! Love the design. Can I ask what material the primary bathroom shower is made of?
Does anyone know where to find the stunning wallpaper from the family room? I love that dark little den so much.
❤❤Absolutely Beautiful
Is there anyway to find out the color in the second guest room (deep salmon color) you mentioned?

What is the green color in the second kitchen?
Gosh I can’t remember right now but it is a deep olive color.
What does “market” mean? You found things at what market?
could be design market - Dallas, NY, LA, Chicago, and Miami all have "markets" and I'm sure smaller/regional areas have a version of it as well

Tasteful but I can't help feeling it's a bit dark, a bit depressing, and maybe a bit creepy. There's not enough light in the house.
