    It’s like unity and vroid collaboratively decided to make porting them together as difficult as possible

      It’s great! You can decorate your house and take photos in it, and honestly it’s just fun to run around in 😉

    Hey my BoneTransfer tool looks completely different. I also don't have a Tool option at the top and had to find it below the Windows option.
    So I'm not sure what to do, because I get very different options when I press BoneTransfer compared to what you've shown on the screen. (I followed to other video step by step to get every Package into Unity)

      Hi Aoi! I just gave a look at the BoneTransfer tool that I have linked and it appears that they have done some huge updates to the tool in the last two months.
      I haven't had a chance to play with the new tool yet, but I'll see if I can figure out the changes and post an update when I can. I wish I could provide you with a link to the old version, but it appears they don't have it available any more :(

      Are you using 0.4? Because I managed to make it work. It's still the same method, the only difference was the option was on the Window instead.

    would this methoid work for adding a visible skeleton inside the model if i say have transparent parts of the model that would show inside the model? (im making a ghostly Vtuber model and wanted to add a human skeleton inside it)

      I haven’t tried doing something like that but I think in theory it would work! There would be a lot of mapping around the body though, so I don’t think it would be a small chunk of work 🤔

    the hair on my model doesn't have a drop down option like yours does

      @@FemboyAkagi You’ll want to make sure you didn’t have “Combine hair mesh” checked when you exported the model from VRoid :)

    I wouldn’t say it isn’t working for me, but when I attach it all and test. The head to see if it worked, it’s attached, but part of it stretches weirdly. Do you know what that is?

      That sounds like potentially all the meshes didn’t get swapped to the new parent! That’s one of the most tricky parts is making sure you got them all - it’s often if it’s hair and there are multiple pieces.

    Am I still able to transfer bone weight if I don't edit/add the hair bounce?

      Nope! The “hair bounce” is the bones - if you don’t do it there won’t be any bones to transfer!

    Hey, I did everything that was said and shown in the video, but when I put it into VSeeFace, the very tip of the tail still moves with the head, but the rest moves with the hips. Do you have a fix for this? Any additional help would be massively appreciated! One additional thing to note is that the tail is made of one big bone/strand of hair so it's not that I didn't select everything!

      Hey! It sounds like the last bone might not have the correct parent - like it got disconnected when it was moved in Unity.
      I would check your Unity project and see if the bone is still properly set to the one above it on the tail originally :)

    I know this is pretty late to the party, but I'm not able to access my hair meshes. What do I do?

      Hey there 😊 When you exported your model from VRoid, did you make sure to deselect “combine hair mesh”? If you didn’t, then it will have them all as one!

    Hello, I followed all the steps but when it came to testing the model, the bone tool did not do its job. I am using the latest version of vroid, any suggestions? try changing unity and uniVRM but it didn't work

      Hi! The first things I would check is to make sure when you exported the model from VRoid you didn't combine the hair mesh.
      After that, I would make sure that if you have more than one piece of hair for the tail (or whatever you're moving) that you use the BoneWeightTransfer tool on every single hair mesh item (the 2nd part of the video).
      Hopefully one of these will help! I've used this tool with multiple versions of Unity and UniVRM and the only time I've had problems with it is when the hair mesh is combined, not all hair meshes are transferred, or when I accidentally select the wrong bones that I'm moving from and to.

      For some reason my bone tool wasn't working entirely either, but if you select the tail and look at characteristics on the right side, make sure that the root bone and override root bone are both set as hip as well. mine was still on the head but once i changed it, everything fixed

    i dont see the body weight transfer after importing it??

      Hi! Can you be more specific about what you're not seeing on import? :) Is the tool not displaying in the menu after install, or is the bone not displaying on the model when you import it?

      ....... Neither tool is displaying... Nor the menu (tools option) is displaying. Nthing happen

      Hmm, I’ve never had that happen before! I would try restarting Unity and also checking the versions of the package and it’s compatibility with your version of Unity!
