i just ordered this for prime day. im upgrading from the razer kishi v1. I was thinking about the backbone but this is better in each way and its cheaper!!
I love the GameCube thumb sticks it comes with makes playing GameCube games more nostalgic
Thank you for making this wonderful tutorial. I just bought the Gamesir G8 and was trying it out. I have a question: how do you take out the phone safely? Do you have to wait until it goes into standby mode before taking out the phone? Also I have a hard time pulling the phone out of the movable usb port. I hope you can provide me with some helpful tips. Thank you.
What’s going on with the gamsir app? Reviews across iOS and android are hating on it. Is this controller still useful without the app? The backbone app with the g8 controller looks the ideal combo.
Can you please tell me if this connects via bluetooth as well? I have an older lightning connector iPhone, I am planning to buy a new type C one (iPhone 16 series maybe) so it won't matter in future but for now I have a lightning port only, I know the port on the controller can like slide off, so that got me wondering if this does support bluetooth connectivity.
This one does not connect via Bluetooth. The G8 plus does though.
Will it work well on a plane? I have to be on a plane for 18 hours
The controller should work just fine on the plane. But, will your phone last 18 hours ? 😆

Are the keys clicky? Just like in the backbone?
Keys aren't as clicky as the backbone and they feel better, in my opinion.
Everything right but the NO CASE... thats a no buy for me. Just get that done, and its a definite buy for me.
Does this work with Genshin Impact?
I couldn't get this controller to work with Genshin.
I just got this one from China for 30 USD 😂 so cheap since gamesir is a Chinese company
