It's not "fuller", but fula, or fulani, or pulho, or pular. They are the most wide spread tribe in Africa, inhabiting every single country from Mauritania down to Rwanda. Amazingly, they kept the same language and tradition over the centuries, despite being sometimes 6,000 miles apart. ''Diallo" is one their most common names. They are tall and lanky, and nature dashed them some of the most beautiful features among Africans.

Most Ancient religions created separation among people causing much supremaces, hatred, degrading humans, abuse & even murdering. The American churches allow people to come together & as many as could fit in a church building so they can get money. Especially white churches that still secretly don't care much for minorities but they don't mind them coming in their white churches & giving their hard earned money to a caucasians establishment that practice supremacism that don't even like blacks & people of color These churches politically vote for gop's ruling thats against anything fair & equal for minorities.

      1. In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
      2. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
      2. God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. He is the Sublime, the Magnificent. Originator of the heavens and the earth. He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs of animals, by means of which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
      3. He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.
      4. Aforetime, as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.
      5. Nothing is hidden from God, on earth or in the heaven.
      6. It is He who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god except He, the Almighty, the Wise.
      16. And mention in the Scripture Mary, when she withdrew from her people to an eastern location.
      17. She screened herself away from them, and We sent to her Our spirit, and He appeared to her as an immaculate human.
      18. She said, “I take refuge from you in the Most Merciful, should you be righteous.”
      19. He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.”
      20. She said, “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I was never unchaste?”
      21. He said, “Thus said your Lord, `It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign for humanity, and a mercy from Us. It is a matter already decided.'“
      22. So she carried him, and secluded herself with him in a remote place.
      23. The labor-pains came upon her, by the trunk of a palm-tree. She said, “I wish I had died before this, and been completely forgotten.”
      24. Whereupon he called her from beneath her: “Do not worry; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you.
      25. And shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards you, and it will drop ripe dates by you.”
      26. “So eat, and drink, and be consoled. And if you see any human, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Most Gracious, so I will not speak to any human today.'“
      27. Then she came to her people, carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have done something terrible.
      28. O sister of Aaron, your father was not an evil man, and your mother was not a whore.”
      29. So she pointed to him. They said, “How can we speak to an infant in the crib?”
      30. He said, “I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture, and made me a prophet.
      31. And has made me blessed wherever I may be; and has enjoined on me prayer and charity, so long as I live.
      32. And kind to my mother, and He did not make me a disobedient rebel.
      33. So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive.”
      34. That is Jesus son of Mary-the Word of truth about which they doubt.
      35. It is not for God to have a child-glory be to Him. To have anything done, He says to it, “Be,” and it becomes.
      36. “God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
      37. But the various factions differed among themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve from the scene of a tremendous Day.
      38. Listen to them and watch for them the Day they come to Us. But the wrongdoers today are completely lost.
      39. And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded. Yet they are heedless, and they do not believe.
      40. It is We who will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and to Us they will be returned.
      58. This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder.
      59. The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.
      60. The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.
      61. And if anyone disputes with you about him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, “Come, let us call our children and your children, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and let us invoke God’s curse on the liars.”
      62. This is the narrative of truth: there is no god but God. God is the Mighty, the Wise.
      63. But if they turn away-God knows the corrupt.
      64. Say, “O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides God.” And if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we have submitted.”
      65. O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Will you not reason?
      66. Here you are-you argue about things you know, but why do you argue about things you do not know? God knows, and you do not know.
      67. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a Monotheist, a Muslim. And he was not of the Polytheists.
      68. The people most deserving of Abraham are those who followed him, and this prophet, and those who believe. God is the Guardian of the believers.
      69. A party of the People of the Book would love to lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, and they do not realize it.
      70. O People of the Book! Why do you reject the revelations of God, even as you witness?
      71. O People of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with falsehood, and knowingly conceal the truth?
      72. Some of the People of the Book say, “Believe in what was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day, and reject it at its end, so that they may return.”
      73. And trust none except those who follow your religion.” Say, “Guidance is God’s guidance. If someone is given the like of what you were given, or they argue with you before your Lord, say, “All grace is in God’s hand; He gives it to whomever He wills.” God is Bounteous and Knowing.
      74. He specifies His mercy for whomever He wills. God is Possessor of Sublime Grace.
      75. Among the People of the Book is he, who, if you entrust him with a heap of gold, he will give it back to you. And among them is he, who, if you entrust him with a single coin, he will not give it back to you, unless you keep after him. That is because they say, “We are under no obligation towards the gentiles.” They tell lies about God, and they know it.
      76. Indeed, whoever fulfills his commitments and maintains piety-God loves the pious.
      77. Those who exchange the covenant of God, and their vows, for a small price, will have no share in the Hereafter, and God will not speak to them, nor will He look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. They will have a painful punishment.
      78. And among them are those who twist the Scripture with their tongues, that you may think it from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say, “It is from God,” when it is not from God. They tell lies and attribute them to God, knowingly.
      79. No person to whom God has given the Scripture, and wisdom, and prophethood would ever say to the people, “Be my worshipers rather than God’s.” Rather, “Be people of the Lord, according to the Scripture you teach, and the teachings you learn.”
      80. Nor would he command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. Would he command you to infidelity after you have submitted?
      81. God received the covenant of the prophets, “Inasmuch as I have given you of scripture and wisdom; should a messenger come to you verifying what you have, you shall believe in him, and support him.” He said, “Do you affirm My covenant and take it upon yourselves?” They said, “We affirm it.” He said, “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”
      82. Whoever turns away after that-these are the deceitful.
      83. Do they desire other than the religion of God, when to Him has submitted everything in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned?
      84. Say, “We believe in God, and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.”
      85. Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
      86. How will God guide a people who disbelieved after having believed, and had witnessed that the Messenger is true, and the clear proofs had come to them? God does not guide the unjust people.
      87. Those-their penalty is that upon them falls the curse of God, and of the angels, and of all mankind.
      88. Remaining in it eternally, without their punishment being eased from them, and without being reprieved.
      89. Except those who repent afterwards, and reform; for God is Forgiving and Merciful.
      90. As for those who disbelieve after having believed, then plunge deeper into disbelief, their repentance will not be accepted; these are the lost.
      91. As for those who disbelieve and die disbelievers, even the earth full of gold would not be accepted from any of them, were he to offer it for ransom. These will have a painful torment, and will have no saviors.
      111. And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.”
      Read The Quran.
“I am to you a clear warner.”
“That you shall worship none but God. I fear for you the agony of a painful Day.”

Which proves that not all so called black people are the same, all West Africans aren't the same people because some tribes fled into that land years before the The Atlantic Slave trade. So called black people are the most diverse group of people so it just impossible to place them in the same category as saying they all are African or it was Africans selling other Africans. That's simply not true, even in Africa for instance lets say Nigeria, not even Nigerians see them selves as being the same just like not all people in the u s see themselves as being the same people but only in the u s it's a color difference. Well before slavery it was the same way, we need to stop seeing Africa as a whole as a county because that mindset places them all in the same group even in a place such as Nigeria where a Nigerian can tell which ethnic tribes they belong to just by looking at someone for instance some people their could grow full afros and beards while some can't, some are much shorter and then some are more taller... some originated from the Eastern portion of Africa due to the downfall and conquering of the East of the black Arabs and so they kept fleeing into the Western portion of Africa to try to blend in. But my point is that West Africans can see and tell the difference even by cultural difference and beliefs we as amer... just can't see that big difference because we place them in the same category. Even Nigerian DNA shows that their not the same and that some aren't originally from that land such as the IGBO tribe and that's why the original people of that land where selling them off, they even admitted that their ancestors where selling off the strangers of their land. Guns, Cannons and other forms of advanced weaponry gave those tribes the upper advantage over other tribes they conquered, enslaved and where selling off to the white Europeans during that time. Chinese don't even see themselves as Japanese people because they could see and tell the difference we just can't tell the difference but they both have a separate culture and with a separate culture comes a separate spirit. Every tribe in West Africa had a separate spirit and culture.

As a Dinka from South Sudan, my little knowledge about Wollof.....We believe that the Wollof people are the sons of Wol Ajang Ngor from the Bhar-el-gazelle region of South Sudan. Dinka, nuer, and Wollof plus the serer were all from the same kingdom called Koc(Kush kingdom/Nuba).
We entered Sudan in 11 century AD and arrived in South Sudan in the 16th-17th century on the way, some of our brothers parted their ways through the Nile valley to the Gambia, Senegal, and Mauritania and are believed to have arrived in the 8th-10th-11th century.
    Here are the names we share ;
    South Sudan: Deng, Duop,Ngor,Nyang,Manyang,Malang,Lam,Dior,Akon etc.
Senegal: Dieng, Diop, Ngor,Niang,Malang,Lam, Dior,Akon etc.

You all have hard consonant stops (for lack of a better description). A lot of usage of j, k, l, 'ng' etc. There are even similarities in some mispronunciations of the English language. Pattern matching and language somehow comes very naturally to me. So something tells me I'm not wrong that there's a shared history

      2. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
      163. Your God is one God. There is no god but He, the Benevolent, the Compassionate.
      62. And let not Satan divert you. He is an open enemy to you.
      63. When Jesus came with the clarifications, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify for you some of what you differ about. So fear Allah, and obey me.
      64. Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him-this is a straight path.”
      65. But the factions differed among themselves. So woe to the wrongdoers from the suffering of a painful Day.
      66. Are they only waiting for the Hour to come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware?
      67. On that Day, friends will be enemies of one another, except for the righteous.
      68. O My servants, you have nothing to fear on that Day, nor will you grieve.
      69. Those who believed in Our revelations, and were submissive.
      70. Enter the Garden, you and your spouses, Joyfully.
      71. They will be served around with trays of gold, and cups. Therein is whatever the souls desire and delights the eyes. Therein you will stay forever.
      72. Such is the Garden you are made to inherit, because of what you used to do.
      73. Therein you will have abundant fruit, from which you eat.
      74. As for the sinners, they will be in the torment of Hell forever.
      75. It will never be eased for them. In it, they will be devastated.
      76. We did them no injustice, but it was they who were the unjust.
      77. And they will cry, “O Malek, let your Lord finish us off.” He will say, “You are staying.”
      78. We have given you the truth, but most of you hate the truth.
      79. Have they contrived some scheme? We too are contriving.
      80. Or do they think that We cannot hear their secrets and their conspiracies? Yes indeed, Our messengers are by them, writing down.
      81. Say, “If the Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship.”
      82. Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, beyond what they describe.
      83. So leave them to blunder and play, until they encounter their Day which they are promised.
      84. It is He who is Allah in heaven, and Allah on earth. He is the Wise, the Knower.
      85. And blessed is He Who has sovereignty over the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be returned.
      86. Those they invoke besides Him are incapable of intercession; only those who testify to the truth and have knowledge.
      87. And if you asked them, “Who created them?”, they would say, “Allah.” Why then do they deviate?
      88. As for his statement: “My Lord, these are a people who do not believe.”
      89. Pardon them, and say, “Peace.” They will come to know.

It's not surprising, in ancient times, the Sahara wasn't a desert. It was a grassland savanna. That area was populated with cow herding people, and those people criss crossed the continent. So the Fulani, Hausa, Tuareg, Wolof, and other groups were probably from east Africa. That's why I always find it crazy that people find it impossible to believe that Africa was completely populated by Black Africans at one time, and the original inhabitants of north Africa weren't Europeans or transplants from the middle east or around the Mediterranean, they were always there, and walked there from the south. It's only in the last hundred thousand to tens of thousands of years when the Sahara started expanding that the area became mostly depopulated. And most likely there is a whole much of anthropological evidence of not just humans but civilization. Remember proto Saharan writing was discovered and it predates writing in every other part of the world outside Africa.

      85. Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

      61. And if anyone disputes with you about him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, “Come, let us call our children and your children, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and let us invoke God’s curse on the liars.”

@@freedom_is_gold6747 that's not exactly true. There's a reason the region is referred to as Senegambia. The French and British colonisers split them up so Iamyahya's statement rings true historically and culturally. Not everyone in Senegambia is Wolof but the people regardless of their ethnic group share commonalities they can immediately point to.
I'm Yoruba, the French and the British did the same thing in what is now called Benin and Nigeria. The Yoruba mostly are in Nigeria but many of our people were stuck with the French in Benin hence they speak Yoruba and French instead of British English and Yoruba. Iamyahya's statement doesn't erase anyone's culture. That sounds like woke speak to me.

@@dadisiolutosin i'm well aware of the colonial history, so you weren't teaching me anything! now i never said anything about tribes not sharing comonalities, so you are just making stuff up i never said. As a matter of fact just like in northern nigeria you have mostly hausa and fulani there, and igbos to the east and yorubas to the west.
your analogy is a false analogy! yorubas in benin and yorubas in nigeria are still Yorubas! that is not what we are talking about we re talking about! For your analogy to be correct we would have to compare yorubas to igbos or hausas for example. imagine some northerners with surnames like Eṣubiyii.
      Iyanda.
      Ọlọlade.
      Ganiyu.
      Aliyu.
      Kasimu.
      Bakare.
and then some guy comes and says these are igbo names are hausa names! That in fact would be erasure of yoruba culture and history. Or someone saying yes if your name is Ololade then you are a IGBO would you accept such nonsensical statements. Erasing the history of your names? No you wouldn't Liberians and Congolese couldn't even were your nigerian attire to a wedding without y'all making a mess out of it,a piece of lot let alone a surname and family name.
Stop it. Your statement is false if you gonna make a comparrison compare two different tribe not the same tribe. Nobody is debating wether wolof in senegal and wolof in Gambia are wolof Okay. The colors they wear are beyond beautiful. It is true from what I saw from this clip the women are very beautiful too. I would like to learn more about the beginning of their culture. It has to be amazing. It is part of all nations of the past to keep records and pass to their children. This is the only way that we know thru history how all of our cultures come together to make us all human. No matter what color our skin is we all mesh together as human beings thru history and different cultures

The Wolof people are on average actually taller than 6 ft ; because they are taller than most of the Tutsis in Senegal , who are themselves over 6ft. I think they are probably closer to the Dinka and Shilluk both culturally and linguistically (?), and most definitely the same in terms of colour ( glistening blue -black sheen) and well formed regular features. Fantastic people.

Wolof and Bambara languages when they are being spoken, they are sounding as pronunciation like southeast Asian languages with African words.
Similar sound pronunciation having languages like the Dinka or the Luo.
So, I think that there is some relationship between the Wolof and the today's Nilotic tribes of South Sudan. Of course the face features of the Wolof are different from the average of the Nilotes, but the height and the dark skin in many cases of their population, are just the same!!!
      Nice video and very interesting!!!

Additional information: In the wolof ethnicity there’s a sub category called Lebuu/lebou we share the same customs and language of the wolofs just that we have different accents.
For example the Lebou has a tendency to add the letter “a” at the end of words for example mango = manga
    Sambe (last name)= Samba
Lebous can be found on the coastal cities of Senegal and also Gambia, in fact they are usually described as the Ethnicity of fishermen.

I have fond memories of the Wolof people of whom I had never heard about before I emigrated to live in the Netherlands. In fact my very first friends in the Netherlands were all Wolof from both Senegal and in particular Gambia. I used to go to Senegal/Gambia parties in this Dutch town. I look like them, with myself also being tall ('6'3"/1.90m) and very dark skin - though not of Wolof heritage. My issue with them was that back in the day they were notorious slave traders who sold millions of their neighbouring people and even their own fellow Wolof into the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade.

Haat Praat: We do not know for a fact that they were slave traders. That is according to the history written about them by the European, perhaps in an attempt to minimise his own guilt, deflect, pin some of the blame on the victim. Does their own oral tradition state that? Did Africans not live in peace and solidarity before the advent of you know who? Like you, I am West Indian. and take, with a pound of salt, anything written by the slave traders about Africa, India, and wherever else they have run amok; we simply need to watch how they rewrite history in the present. I wait for the real history of Africa to be revealed.

@@lynneleeluckdowsing6654 A history of Wolof slave trading would hardly be in their oral history because it involved no humanity and all greed, viciousness and violence. But on a logical level MILLIONS of Africans were taken from that part of Wolof Africa. Even today with all our means of logistics and transportation it would be impossible to forcibly transport so many without the implicit help of the local Africans ie the Wolof. As a black man, I find it difficult to imagine that black people would sell their own black people for guns, alcohol and trinkets. But that is exactly what occurred in West Africa at that time. You need to look histories of West African societies like Dahomey aka Benin, Ghana who do not hide their hideous slave trading activities. The Wolof were just the same as them.

You have even went as far as read what they traded with nigerians to get slaves and projected that onto senegal. you do know that slavery in that area actually started by portuguese slave raidings even europeans admitt this.google the name nuno tristao .That alone shows how wrong it is for you to just wildly make these assumptions. whilst i also read that the wolof empire are responsible 1/3 of the transatlantic slavetrade prior to the 1600's. You also do understand that many of their people were muslim so you can't just push the they sold us for alcohol narrative and hope that it automatically fits into it. their is a lot of holes in this narrative.
also ghana and benin actually apologized for their roles, not what their role actually was. i have heard ghanians say various stories in that subject. you are repeating what yvette carnel read about nigeria and assuming it was the same everywhere. which even if the nigerian version was true, would be difficult to actually know since the curriculum was written by colonialists anyway.None of them have a written history .they are also the same people that wrote in the history books about a racial resistance to yellof fewer as a reason they couldn't enter africas interior, today we know thats a lie.As Cambridge university admitted that it was a lie made up to justify slavery.which you can google "racial resistance to yellow fever Cambridge ". they talk about malaria as another excuse yet they managed to live and colonize in large numbers in zimbabwe, kenya and senegal.

The coconut tree climbing is a spectacular and breathtaking activity that human beings have performed for thousands of centuries, even without hurting their genitals, yet it is not recognized.
The climbing of the coconut tree should have been the eighth wonder of the world, and it's also deserves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records!
