It depends on what you are comfortable with honestly, I played baseball since tee-ball till high-school I do regret deciding to not continue playing honestly, but when I got to high-school I bough a 33in and a 34in I decided a 34in felt better while playing and I don't have big hands, I have medium size hands but that's the size I used for all 4 years of high-school
I am a 15 year old I used to catch in rec ball and have only really caught bullpens when a kid needs to warm up I’d say I’m not bad for not being a full time catcher , I don’t own any gear or. Glove, should I make the investment in hopes to be in the feild as much as possible
That’s a great glove for younger/smaller guys that aren’t big. My son has used that glove from 9u until current at 14u just asked for something bigger. I believe the lighter, smaller glove, wonderful durability is a main factor in why his receiving skills are so sharp. He’s the one our pitchers ask to catch them because he gets those borderline strike calls I contribute that to the 31.5 all star pro elite for sure.
Ok but why the different sizes? And I don’t mean about age difference what’s the benefit of getting one size over the other? What do you mean by choosing a glove depending on the catcher’s strength?
If a catchers hands are smaller, or they're younger, it'll be harder for them to close something like a 34, so they should have a 32.5 or something near that range. And a bigger glove provides more area and pocket, but is less agile, while smaller gloves have slightly less room, but can be moved more easily.
The 3000 plays small so got son the 34 (100% model) and its noticable smaller the his HOH color sync 2.0 thats 34! Bout pick up the Forec3 33.5 so he not over use his gamer in summer ball!

Depends how big you are, if you’re like 5’7 or smth then go 33.5 (All star mitt) but if you’re like 5’0 then do the same. Ngl it doesn’t matter.
33
