I think he does it because it portrays his own persona. Cause if you think about it, Han, whenever he's with stray kids, is always being his happy-go-luck, carefree and extroverted introvert self. But the truth is he's actually someone that thinks a lot when he's alone ❤. Also the theory about the thoughts is right cause he said he was thinking too much but have finally let go of his negative thoughts and that he's much more happier and healthier. At the end of the MV human Han drpped the pick for alien Han, something was written on the pick, I think hold my hand was written on it.
