I remember thinking this fight would be hard but when i went into it, I found it was ridiculously easy so long as the Fairy type you used knew Dazzling Gleam. The move's not that helpful in regular battles but in double battles, it's a supereffective catch-all.
I actually started with this guy first, simply because I wanted the evolution item/tm. A full team of Fairys carried it with only two faints. More annoying than challenging.
My issue is always the flygon. I try to lead with my baxcalibur and something else (usually lapras or iron valiant) but that stupid flygon always goes for stone edge instead of earthquake

I thought the same and spent all day trying to make a team to beat him. I even bought an ability capsule to get prankster whimsicott + abomasnow scarf blizzard. but lost at the end to Arch

(i know they are offically blueberrie elite 4 but they function exactly the way we where expecting the base game gyms to so they're gyms to me.)

I trained a lapras just for this battle was gonna use dewgong next to him and spam water surf to heal lapras and use snowstorm to increase blizzards accuracy same way rainy day increases thunders accuracy

Because most people have had the game for over a year already. That's why I share the weaknesses so you use your own team, the idea was never to copy my team exactly because it would take a lot of effort to build my 6 pokemon this way. Use what you have to exploit those weaknesses

This gym was more a pain then anything else because you had to use required Pokémon which puts a roadblock on us for no reason but to waste time. I have enough things to do already like getting points so didn’t need to be roadblocked by this toothpaste hair twit.

Yeah they are more like gyms because you know their types beforehand. Unlike the Elite 4 which you find out the hard way

Only the 3 trial trainers need to be pokemon caught in terrarium, not Drayton himself. I used my normal team.

I didn't. You can fight Drayton with any Pokémon, it's only his trial that was limited to local Pokémon

Try used faster pokemon if you can't survive the hits. Or use Trick Room to make yours faster than his
