Been detecting and dowsing since the 70's. print a map of the area. use a silver sewing needle and white thread. hang the needle over each corner of the map see where it swings and where the lines cross. if you want talk to the needle as if it was a dog "where's the gold boy, find the gold" once you get an x on the map, use a hand held dowsing rod and detect where the lines cross. I'm 77 and been doing this for a long time, works for me. read up on dowsing. Good Hunting !
I read the book the divining hand. It had stories of map dowsing but a few stories of map dowsers were amazing. I really wished some books were written or had info on different methods. The book divining hand had methods, but the dowser interviewed from Cali that dowsed for oil and platinum etc he said he’s done dowsing so long he can’t explain how he learned and said it’s like saying how did he learn to walk. I guess it’s just a lot of practice but I do wish there’d be other books to add to the subject.
Do you recommend any books on dowsing? Thanks for info on your method of map dowsing. You should watch the channel terry carter interview Robert strawberry. Or terry carter and dowsing underground cities. He also interview Louis matacia or maybe recorded a video of them but the audio was bad in spots.
There's plenty still out there hidden. Hundreds of square miles. Dozens of robbers you never heard of. Smart to get the loot off of them and bury it with plans to come back later and get it. Then they got killed themselves or simply didn't need it and left it as a stash. Got to put in the work and find those old trails and get out there and detect.
People should look first for robberies of actual raw gold as you can always mine that. That and raw gold isn’t stolen by the government using their antiquities laws. If you find gold coins you need a treasure trove permit or find it on private land. And you can get a finders fee maybe but you’ll need lawyers. Look at the treasure hunters in Pennsylvania. They were on a state park but the fbi did the excavation and left in the morning claimed they found nothing. So even if you have a lawyer doesn’t mean you’ll actually get a finders fee. Well here’s the issue. In Pennsylvania the fbi didn’t let em watch them excavate. But if you already video taped a find and knew what was there then you’ve documented it and are way less likely to get screwed out of not getting a finders fee.
I remember this, there were questions about the stage manager's involvement and the timing and members of the posse taking the loot etc. It's not there
@@AdventuresIntoTheUnknownsmart to check into it. So many possibilities. Even if an inside job there could be something left to recover. Thieves will steal from each other the second they are able.
Henry Seymour wasn't killed there. A few years after the Pine Spring robbery, he was arrested in Gillett Az for robbing another stage coach (1882) He had plenty of time to hide or stash the loot
@@AdventuresIntoTheUnknown Just moved to Strawberry Arizona from Arkansas. Can't wait to get up there and explore. Supposed to be an old wagon Rd (Bearfoot trail) that goes up the rim but I find it hard to believe because there are no wagon wheel ruts in the stone
You would need a starting point, if you knew where the cabin was it couldn’t be far from the old cabin because they had no time to move the gold very far but if someone had taken a horse or two they could have gone a mile maybe and buried the gold, it’s a good story but not a good one to follow but I would bet it’s not around that spot
Cool video..new sub...been thinking about going back to AZ, and hunt for that one, and the 2 Guns treasure. Looks like you need a better detector though. A deep seeker like a Garrett. Thanks

I agree. There is buried treasure everywhere. Seek and Enjoy!

I would agree that it is possible the loot is long gone.

I agree Henry Seymour was not killed at Pine Spring. I think it is more likely he may have had a hand in planning but not the act of robbing.

Even as a small boy I thought ‘why don’t they use planes to search for gold’ as in exactly like a scaled up metal detector….
Interesting. Perhaps using Lidar...
Wondering how much time did they have to bury the gold before the possey got there an finding exactly where the cabin was
From the reports I have been able to find the outlaws had 12 to 24 hours.
See if there was any old maps in the library’s or courthouses
Have not been able to locate any old maps or even pictures of the stagecoach station.

Arizona has many lost treasures. My Gold Bug detector is great at find nuggets but not so good looking for buried treasure.
Whats the name of the ghost app ? Lol
