I came across your videos by chance. I'm about to be 59 years old and love to paint. I've never had a class and I paint for myself. Usually it's acrylic paint on canvas and I use my hands a lot. I absolutely love how you explain things! It's super easy to understand but as an adult it never ever feels like you are talking down to anyone. I'm excited to try the straw technique. I'm a water colour girl, an I really like painting on Black paper, I love Abstract art.. thank you so much for sharing your skills an wonderful ideas, I love painting with my Gran children who are soo good at their art.... I have always loved to color, and the brighter the better. I have tried to paint like or draw like my dad, brother and well 99% of my family as you can guess there are 5 of us who are in that last 1 percent. With me being the bottom. I can even draw a straight line using a rule! No joke. But after finding you omg, I can paint just about anything using what I have learned from you and trying things on my own. I even painted my old with tennis shoes with bright color hearts. I don't have water colors yet, but tomorrow I will. I paint a retro 60s love picture using bright colors . I love it I am only using small Dollar Tree canvas but now I am not afraid to try anything. Thank you so much I am so excited for Christmas, everyone is getting a "Penny" original!! Thank you❤❤❤

I absolutely adore this!! The bouquet is my favourite. I HAVE to do the bouquet with my art groups. You have SO inspired me with all your videos. I was a preschool teacher too! I work with older kids now. You teach like I do. I also say “it’s your work/picture/whatever, you do what you like and what works for you.” No stress, no dictating and no expecting perfection; just enjoying the process.

#Andrea, the floofy things on the dandelion are seeds, with like a little helicopter blades to spin them away when they've lived their best life! Lol!!
You can remove acrylic paint with rubbing alcohol. Place a few folded paper towels and plastic under the paint stain. You want to make sure the spot is kept separated from the other parts of the garment. Wet the paint on fabric with alcohol prefer 90% but 70% works too. Use an old toothbrush to agitate the paint. Circular with back and forth motions to soften the paint. Blot with more paper towels and repeat until all the paint is completely gone.
Sooooo… we made the shoes! They didn’t quite turn out how we wanted because we tried to leave a white sections and when we put it in the dryer it didn’t stay right but… we still love them.
I love you videos, Andrea. You do use a lot 9f paper plates,though. We need to get away from thinking of disposibles too often. Why not use white plates from a thrift store, ur reuse plastic lids from yogurt containers? Instead of cutting down trees i know this is awkward for lirtle kids,but they can learn!

Yes! I'm not sure how vibrant it would be on black, but it would definitely work on white. You could test it!
