I do like this format for delivery of some builds, but i like your longer versions as you include a lot of general information about the game/expansion etc that help new players like myself in other areas of the game. As I have followed along with one of your other pet builds, which is doin really well, I knew more what information was important and when. Thanks again for the content you have been generating. Same I've seen people with 9,000 hours on steam. I have like 590 myself rn, just made a dw cold reaper and a storm totem druid at the same time they both just hit 100 with almost full gear.
Tip! You can more than double the range of "lobbed" projectiles i.e. poison bomb. Just place the cursor very close to your characters feet and fire. Where you place the cursor will dictate the direction. It takes a bit of practice but it can be useful. Discovered this by chance.
adding devotions to pets is just awesome. the gact the game allows it, just shows they like the gamers. Still one of those rare gems that gets almost everything right.
@@CyberBeep_kenshi Yeah, it’s a while other avenue of fun and carnage. I’ve got Murmur on the Blight Fiend now and it works great - spreads through groups even at distance.
@@Arcadelife1 ye i also check for recharge times. when you put something on a main attack like cadence, it helps if it has like a 1s recharge. even more funnwith 2 pistols ;) the lower ones are fine one like 14 skellies, though ia m not sure if they recharge for each individual skelly. so many systems in this game lol
I should have known that you would have already addressed this! lol I don't understand it all, but I was wondering if you could do this with Demo/Arcanist = Sorcerer? By using the maiven's sphere of protection for 12 points to get 22% reduction in damage. My build (which is weak) comes in with 327 health per second and has most of behemoth and all of wendigo devotions. But, of course, wendigo is based on % of attack damage converted to health and not like your straight health regeneration.
@@michaelwallace5368 It’s all health regen on that commando character. The aether ground (and similar hazards) works differently from incoming attacks so the usual protection is mostly ineffective. It’s possible to prioritise health regen much higher than on the character in my video, which is in the 50s (level) as far as I can remember without checking.
I wanted to ask a couple of questions. I have one item that has two processors on it. Have you ever seen this before? Also, I have one item that has pox on it. I had used pox on builds before, but never to much effect - but this thing is great!
@@michaelwallace5368 An item that randomly drops with two granted skills is an extremely rare occurrence - well done getting lucky with that. Pox as a granted skill on an item is definitely nice, although be aware if you have other items that say they specifically buff Bloody Pox, they only buff the mastery skill of that name, not granted skills on items.
I already have a pet build started from before I rip'd my occultist/shaman bloody pox and grasping vines I think, lots of dots... Anyway, this looks like a fun way to go, I can't fast level yet as I haven't beaten the game at all lol, but I think summons will probably be manageable. I mentioned this in another video, not gonna spam your vids with it but I want to play a ranged frost dmg character, I don't know the breadth of what's possible with skills and devotion and weapons but I'm trying to learn and explore. I always enjoyed frost arrows in Diablo 2, so it's one of a few concepts I try to replicate (along with pet builds and dot focused builds)
@@jpVari If you’re not using a merit, max out the first 2 nodes of skeletons on the way to getting Blight Fiend while equipping as much random pet gear that you can. Should be fine. I’m assuming ‘ranged frost’ means mostly weapon attacks and not cold spells such as Trozan’s (Arcanist). There are plenty of cold-damage pistols from quite low level and Death’s Vigil faction have them for level 35 and 70 if you somehow don’t get them from anything else. For 2H cold ranged there are a couple of crossbows; some of the cold rifles overlap into other damage types but you can always use items to convert the damage. If you want specific details about devotions for something like this, let me know and I’ll figure something out so you have a basic option to look at.

I love watching your videos. Made me wonder if you've ever played or considered Path of Exile. You do so many cool builds and the games are the same genera.
@@phyisics5375 I did play it for a while (a few years back) but never got completely hooked on it. Same with Last Epoch. I know those games get updates etc. but I honestly don’t have the time or enthusiasm to go back to them.
Interesting! Hmm, this gives me ideas. I know of Aether pets and now poison and acid pets. Is Poison and acid the most OP damage in the game? I also think I have seen Fire pets. Roflmbo Blizzard and the Diablo franchise can't hold a candle to the possibilities in Grim Dawn! I am kind of like a sponge every time you come out with a video, I watch it several times to let it sink in. Thank you, keep going.
@@moomar1964 Pets overall are a good way to play … if you like pets. There’s easy gear and good skill support for fire pets, easy gear and extremely good skill support for elemental pets; acid/poison pets are easy enough to gear up (see this video), and there’s plenty of scope to do chaos pets. And that’s just scratching the surface. I’ll dig out my ‘easy gear’ elemental pets videos (from ages back) and link them in another reply - the easy gear is outrageous to be honest.

Just a note to let you know that after playing the game since late November of 2022, I just this morning (August 1st, 2024) got a character up to level 50!!!!!! I have a nasty habit of running characters and deleting them as soon as they get killed. This time I didn't. I've got a pure soldier who's died 12-15 times I think. The nice thing is that now it's only BOSSES who can kill her. Now I have a question: There is a... totem? Shrine? It's just before you get to the Asterkarn Road and it's "Sealed by Ch'thonic Energy" or some such. I couldn't do anything with it not even after killing the boss that was a short distance away. Will I be told later that I can go back and activate/cleanse it? What's the deal? Feel free to tell me not to worry about and just play the game if something happens later to let me know I can go to it. Hope all is well with you. Ciao.
@@charlesballard5251 That shrine is part of a Rovers quest that becomes available at Honored reputation back at the Rovers camp (Quade’s Camp) in the Old Arkovia area. It’s worth doing 👊🙂
@@Arcadelife1 Okay, thanks. I completed "The Hidden Path" at some point before I turned off a bit before midnight local time. I got her up to level 51. However I did NOT kill the MAD QUEEN because she killed me about 10 times before I realized she was healing from all the damage I was doing to her. By the way, have you EVER done a video on the organization of your stash? Or do you maybe not have any organization? My 6th tab is amulets, rings, medals and crafting materials. I try to keep the 1st tab for low level greens to help new characters, but tabs 2-5 are.... a MESS!!! Just a MESS!!!! At this time they are all Epic-blues except that one of them also contains the "Totally Normal" maces that look like different shields. I keep set pieces and promising others, while keeping those for the current character in their personal stash. Just last night after finishing I did a major clear out of my greens that I realized were a bit too high level for starters. I think I kept everything level 12 and below that had really decent stats. Sold the rest. I think I got that tab down to about 1/3 full, maybe 1/4. Thanks.
