Sharks are hateful hateful things. Sam your a glutton for punishment with that dreadful thing! But i always enjoy the videos mate and the budgie soundtrack in the background (hi peanut and butter) Well done on the repair in the end Sam!
Another great Shark video Sam, I`m in the process of saving for their new power detect cordless vacuum , what are your thought on the power detect I think it looks amazing i love the brilliant features on it and the self emptying system
Hi Sam learnt a lot from your videos seen them all I am looking for part for my crazy DC 11 control head floor tool the flex pipe is split .have you any suggestions thanks mark in nz been looking online for ages
Shark don't even do repairs on them anymore. If you have an issue and it['s still in warranty they just replace it and the old one goes to landfill. A rubbish business model regarding sustainability and shows how cheaply made their machines are.
Yep! And their not that different generation to generation either. The floorheads get tweaked but if you took the current lift away thing and stuck it next to ye olde navugarot lift away it wouldn't world's apart, the motors are still the same too 😂
@ Shark Ninja’s entire product line is just desperately trying to copy Dyson and Phillips but somehow manages to make it 1000x worse and ruins the entire point of innovation.
@megatronskneecap nothings innovate for so long 😢 Even Dyson churn out the v11 with different software and milk tweaks mostly, nothing 'new'. But then lupe tried and proved how hard it can be to do it well, numatic got a Chinese bunch to make something to their design which is better, but no ones done a big leap into something cool for ages now
@@beko1987 We're entering an era of AI so god only knows what that translates to in vacuums. Robot vacuums physically make me rench. I understand what you're saying about Dyson. They had enough with trying to make the same old boring schpeel of vacuums so made overpriced hairdryers with high speed motors in them and other silly hair care products. Numatic hasn't innovated much at all since 2014 and Sebo keeps making false promises of releasing something every year or two and none knows what Miele is trying todo with those human rights violations of bagless machines.
@@beko1987 The depressing thing about Dyson is that they've essentially fully turned into a South-East Asian company with abhorrent working conditions and on the technology side of things in their vacuum lines it's completely style over function. They can't seem for the life of them be able to develop a proper power management system that allows their high speed motors to run at max speed for more than 40 minutes which is just not ok at all as even on high speed the battery powered digital motors are still unable to rival mains powered Dyson's which is a big issue. Seems like a big depressing cycle of nothingness.
I have a special place on my hate list for carpet washers in general and Shark are no different there... worst of both worlds again - plastic fantastic vacuum and washer with even lower a budget for the build quality (or lack there-of). Think I'll stick to me recently fully restored Kirby G4 and just give the carpet a scrub by hand if I need it.

Sam keep working on them sharks
I'm done with SHARK now. I no longer repair them. I've told my customers is now only service on sharks.

Sam watson having a bad day with shark vacuum
I hate these things, to a unhealthy degree lol. the only thing I have done to these things recently is drive a diesel corsa over them hahaha
Bad luck sam with shark vacuum cleaner 😅
I stopped buying shark years ago. Completely disposable machines with worthless warranties.
I honestly am still in shock that the Belaco motor fit these machines perfectly. They're so overpriced for what they are it's actually rude.
