Samsung and Bissell were related, this looks kind of similar to a Powerforce 6594 with some minor differences. This bagless design was very common in the US back in the early to mid 2000's Bissell had at least a couple hundred models and it was a horrible design, the filter needed to be washed pretty much after every use. Which needless to say most people didn't ever bother and kept using the machine until dirt and dust got in to the motor and eventually get louder then burn up. On the other hand Bissell/Samsung had bagged models which were miles better, in fact the motor hardly went out on those unless they were used bagless or the bag exploded. Which Bissell in the US still make a few different variants even a commercial version, and honestly they're some of my favorite budget machines because they're easy to get parts for and can run HEPA bags. I do know Samsung in the UK had a bagged variant as well which was called Samsung Quiet Jet ibaisaic has a video on one, it was pretty similar but it was closer to the Powerglide 3545 which was a more deluxe version of the Powerforce.
I wish these had better filtration, might be more keen on them then. Its all that choking dust In the machine and around it all the time that puts me off. I bet grandma is hard of hearing after listening to that for so long too Sam!
I remember a Samsung bagless “cyclone” upright we had in around 2008 it was absolutely dreadful and so noisy, your ears would whistle after use, had a few months and gave it away, couldn’t stand the Noise and the dreadful performance , I gave it away still under its 12 months warranty I think it was a SSU3350 awful machine, looked the part but wasn’t.
I do like the design of the handle. Different from our Bissells in the U.S.
We had this as the Bissell Powerforce Bagless in the US.
Nice! It smacked of Bissell all over!
this is so interesting my friend used to have this in light blue years ago
Smasnug - someone's been watching dankpods!
His Grandma probably has as well
I sure do! Granny barely knows what TH-cam is, she'd not have a clue what was going on in a nugget lucky dip video 😂
Nugget :D
First time seeing a bissell powerforce with something other than bissell on it
I used to have one lol, very easy to refurbish. I could have done 3 of these in the time it takes to do a modern ball dyson haha
Yea once your familiar it's actually quite a nice design!
