Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Isn't his right thumb supposed to be fixed in one spot and not bobbing up and down? That's what I had heard from a sitarist years ago. Perhaps the rules have changed?
He has some serious problem in his right hand. We can see the extreme wrong use of the right thumb. Can't resist myself from disliking this video.
