On June 29th a young Barn Owl arrived at the rescue center. The young one was skinny and lethargic. After a first quick meal, the owl was put in a rehab chamber to begin gaining strength. This owl recovered well while mostly left alone. Disturbed briefly on July 8th, the owl was moved to a bigger chamber to allow room for a new Cooper's Hawk. The owl was very lively, and near ready for release. On July 11th, this very feisty and vocal Barn Owl was released back to the wild where he belongs. I used to clean the bird cages at a recovery place. The birds stay in the cage as you clean. The schreech owls were the smallest but the freeked me out the way the make their noises and stare at you.
Thank god for finding her and nursing her back to health and releasing her back into the wild thanking you so very much keep saving our precious wildlife

Actually because I started watching this channel I found basically the British version of you guys on TH-cam who used to have a TV show about them (called wildlife sos) if you're ever curious about how they do things over the pond look at wildlife Aid on TH-cam, they save birds of pray as well as other native wildlife here so you might enjoy them.
