I just found you today while looking for a tutor for Johnny Nash and his fantastic 1972 I Can See Clearly Now, especially the bridge because I couldn't hear a chord by ear. I'm an "oldboy" and I've had a few guitar teachers. But I still consider myself a beginner. In fact, there are times when I stop playing completely because I am disappointed with my little progress. I have always tried to play by ear and only when I get stuck, I look for help on TH-cam. I like the blues very much (especially Freddie King), but I also love the ballads of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Cat Stevens....... You are really good, I say this because I have had personal teachers and compared to other teachers on TH-cam with millions of subscribers and millions of views, you are just clear and empathic. Ciao!
Hi Riccardo! Thank you so much for taking the time to write your comment 😃🙏 that’s so cool that you can hear songs by ear- not many can do that! 👏🏻 I’m glad my tutorial was able to help you fill in some gaps 😊
I agree. I have scoped out soooo many Very well established guitarists on YT . One fellow in particular named Steve is an amazing accomplished guitarist with lightning fast fretting fingers. . However , Amber has the skill and natural ability to get new and aspiring guitarist playing in no time at all. That being said , you do have to practice , and learn your chords , work on your strumming hand technique etc.... but it is on this channel that I have fast forwarded my playing ability . I am going to take my guitar with me when I go to see family.... maybe I'll impress them .... lol In time 😊
This is such an uplifting and positive song 🎵 one that we all need to hear now. Thank you, Amber, for always presenting and teaching the right song at the right time 😊
Hi Jackson 😊✨ you are most welcome! I’m so glad you have found my lessons now and that you have found my tutorials so helpful 🎶🙏 that makes me so happy!
my favorite song until now that you have played. your voice and your smile are beautiful, id love to have a cup of coffee with you in Spain where I live.
Hi Juan 😊 ahhh what a lovely compliment! Thank you so much 🙏🎶 I think I am smiling so much because I love making music and singing! 😃 It is a dream to visit Spain one day 🙏
In the part with the C#m it can be played using D7 shape moved up easier. Then the only barre chord is Bm, which can be played easy as a power chord instead ! I'm sure you know this . Just adding on to help others struggling with these 2 chords in songs !
Hey David 😃 thanks so much! Only getting around to responding to my messages now. I already know you smashed this one out the park from your video you posted 😎 👌
How happy and cheerful you seem to be, I'm 63 years old, Lord I wish I could live my life over, I was a methamphetamine addict for 45 years, praise God I have been delivered
Are you spiritual, are you a religious person, do you believe in God? My sister has cancer, she will be seeing a cancer doctor tomorrow, in Atlanta Georgia in the United States, she could use a prayer,
Sending all the prayers her way 🙏🙏🙏 I am a believer and we are all in Gods hands at the end of the day. Take comfort in His presence and stay close to Him 🙏
Hi! I guess it’s my style of teaching, I do count out the rhythm in some lessons and in others I call out the down and up strums. Both work and some prefer the counts and others prefer the downs/ups 🎶
