      @@tarstarkuszI hate to break it to ya but personality disorders are not that difficult to see when the person plasters their toxic behavior all over TH-cam and the news for years and years, especially if that PD is narcissism and the person calling it has first hand experience with it. My mother is highly narcissistic and tried to commit suicide two times within a month. I was the only one home when the first overdose occurred. At her doctors appointment following the overdose attempts, she incessantly apologized to her doctor, for what happened, to the point where he grew irritated, looked at her and said, “stop apologizing to me. The ones you need to be apologizing to are your children!”
    The look on his face said it all. He knows she’s a narcissist, but it threw him for a loop, seeing that she cared more about how she came across him and his feelings about the incident, more than her own children. Which is always been the case in my life… She’s always cared about others more than she has her own children. I was glad he stepped up to the plate, and said something on my behalf , to her. It was disgusting. They totally discount their own children, no matter what! Ruby and her speech, reminded me so much of my mother.

      @@kateryna-ostapenko she started apologizing to me….in front of him, saying, “I AM sorry for my children,” and told him that she already had apologized to us, especially me since I was there and had to witness it and call 911. But that was a lie. She never would let me talk about it either, explaining how traumatic it was to deal with that. It ignited her shame apparently. Then….doing it again just weeks later when I had gone out of town, because she was embarrassed to be back in the mental health facility after promising them there that she wouldn’t do it again, she had to blame someone else, which was me. She lives in pain….elderly and several medical issues, so the first time was to get herself out of pain she said. But she needed a different reason (in her mind), as to why she did it again. That crushed me hearing that from her counselor in there. I know she’s got mental issues and was a mommy dearest while growing up, but to have your own mother blame you for trying to take her own life….was a solid blow to my gut! 🫤

Another time she was monitoring their use of electronics when she wasn't home, and saw the 12 year old had played games on the iPad outside of allowed hours. It seemed like in the beginning she was doing a good job with guiding the kids and it got worse around the time she allied herself with that therapist woman. I blame the Mormon church for making their followers more susceptible to bizarre beliefs, it explains why she was so easily influenced.

    • @bbo7002
      @bbo7002 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, i noticed that too. I think it's because ppl don't want to come off like they're discriminating against her religion (tho iirc, Mormonism is technically a cult of Christianity, since the beliefs diverge wildly after a certain point). But some religions deserve to be discriminated against imo 😒
      To be clear, the regular ppl involved do NOT deserve discrimination or abuse! But the power structure itself should be held accountable for every move it makes, esp since there's a LOT of money involved. These Mormon church leaders have so much sway over their subordinates' lives, as well as their finances, actions, and emotions thru things like tithes, missionary work, "support groups" etc. The Mormon church is incredibly wealthy and influential, and not just in the US, but here, they have the advantage of tax exemption status thanks to US law! That makes it easier for them to rake it in, bc ppl are always willing to shell out in return for being told that they're good, they'll be reunited with their family in the afterlife, stuff like that.
      I don't blame ppl for wanting those things! But if someone is charging you to let you hear it? That person ain't trustworthy. Don't give em your money. You don't need to pay for good morals, and gods don't have any use for cash. 😒

    It’s comforting atleast to know that inmates in prison don’t take kindly at all to fellow child abusers. Infact, from what I’ve been told by former inmates and those who have worked in prisons, female inmates are far more ruthless than men especially when it comes to crimes against children as many inmates while incarcerated for other crimes still very well have their natural disgust to crimes against children and those incarcerated who are mothers desperately miss their children while they are doing their time. It’s nice to know that if Ruby is around other inmates they’ll target her, take her food, constantly bully, harass and pick on her and the alternative is protective custody where she’ll have her own cold isolated cell 23 hours a day with one hour still technically isolated but put into a larger cage. Her time in prison without a doubt which well, prison is already terrible to begin with will be far worse and is by far more difficult for those who offend against children.
    I very well hope she feels even worse punishment although I don’t think there is far worse than what she- the own mother did against her poor children every single day in her time incarcerated and I hope due to the disgust and massive media attention this case has taken she and Jodi have the maximum sentence for their crimes, inevitably living the rest of their lives in a cold, dark isolated cell socially ostracized even by the inmates around them and some correctional officers definitely take out their disgust on child offenders as well so I hope they have no reservations making Ruby’s life a living nightmare as well, some even serve “air trays” which is when a correctional officer gives an inmate a tray of food with nothing on it just as Ruby punished her children with lack of dinner and school lunch for millions to see online.

    I would not be surprised if her lifelong immersion in the LDS Church way of life didn't have something to do with how she framed her apology. I doubt that she will ever sufficiently apologize and/or make amends with her children who she terrorized and nearly killed.
