- Shericka "Jacko" Jackson, has been a prolific athlete who has successfully made her presence felt at the quarter mile (400m). Having successfully represented Jamaica and copping medals at both the Olympics and World Championships, Jacko, switched gears and turned to the sprints, where she established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Being a critical part to Jamaica's sweep at the Tokyo Olympics, it is safe to say, whichever event Shericka Jackson chooses, she is REALLY good at bringing home the hardware!!

This is the MOST powerful and inspirational interview I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing!!!!! To know all of this AFTER watching her performance in Oregon at the World Championships puts me in total awe!!!!!! She is now the most FEARED sprinter because of her sustained closing speed! Thank you Sherika for sharing this is something. I shared this with my 15 year old daughter this morning as there is so much that you shared we can relate to. She is going into 10th grade September 2022 and she told me she is going to rejoin the track team and i was wondering if its possible to join so late. Also she thought she was too slow, switch to netball. Also she shares the same sentiment that she is working so hard and no getting the result she wanted. This is so inspiring and I hope this lift her spirit and confidence in her future endeavors in track. As well as she will be starting therapy and thanks for sharing how important to reach out for help. Thank you we needed this ❤
