I'm one of your followers in LinkedIn, these tips will definitely be useful for me, I'm about to finish my degree as a civil Engineer, so I've got to put a lot of effort into learning the basics of structural engineering. By the way, I will advise others to interact with other engineers and ask as many questions whenever is posible, In my case I use LinkedIn as my main platform (I use Reddit every now and then) and I've learned a ton of useful things from people like you. Keep going with this content, I appreciate it!
You just read me as a uni student. Exactly everything you said is just what I’m right now. 😂 Will take in your advice and give my best 😊 Like your videos.
Hi, just requesting one video. Please give us a template on how to write a Design report (Steel/Concrete) for a particular project. Using MS Word and MS Excel. I've been always applying your theoretical concepts during my undergraduate, now am working as a structural engineer. Hope this request will help so many people.
Phenomenal Video, I'm in my last year at Uni and I want to become serious about building my career, and this video is really inspirational thanks. And if you're reading this I do have a question, do you suggest going for a master degree immediately or gain a couple years of experience first, experience has been the answer I get the most but I just don't feel ready to enter the workforce with what I have been taught in uni, any advice?
i like your video and learnt lot of things specifically Australian design standard. would you do the Post tension slab design as3600 standard and than use it Inducta PTD Pleased would be appreciate
Some colleagues have done cfd for wind analysis, but I haven't had any project that required it yet. From what I can remember they were trying to measure how much trucks and pallets would affect wind flow inside factories. Very specific. Why do you need this for?
@@bengthebrazilianengineerinAus about thermal wether you have some good sources of information bcs i have a few structures that are on the edge of civil/Mechanical and need to do the analysis. About cfd was just curious, im currently doing PhD in CFD (numerical and experimental). Cheers
@@bengthebrazilianengineerinAus was already thinking about it tbh. There are only 3 (including you) major structural eng channels that i know of on youtube. Which is pretty low compared to other eng branches. So maybe 😄
Happy Birthday Gabriel 🎉
hahah thanks very much :) appreciate it

That's fantastic. Put in the work. It will pay off in the future. Catch you in LinkedIn

If only I had someone giving me those advice in the past. It will pay off I can guarantee.
Bro, could you please do a tutorial about non-linear and p delta analysis for a simple structure ( when we should do this analysis)
Thanks
Fala, Gabriel! Poderoa falar um pouco de sua jornada em um video, seria interessante. Para todos os conterraneos que querem uma jornada fora do país😅😅
So many valuable lessons. Cheers
Thanks Gabe

Hey gabs..nice video. When is the house design course coming out?
Hey..in a couple of months I would say. Stay tuned :)
Thanks gabriel. Can you make a video of how you use Ipad in your work. And how is it better than using bluebeam on a computer.
that's a great idea for a video. Thanks. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. I think both have their use.
@@bengthebrazilianengineerinAus would love to know in which scenario you use ipad and bluebeam generally.

Hi do you think AI will affect the layoffs of mechanical engineering employees
I think AI will only make our lives easier. Good engineers will always have their place. Focus on skills that AI cannot replace.
Hey Gabriel, nice video. I wanted to ask you wether you do or ever did thermal analysis or cfd analysis on structures?

Sir do you earn 150k dollars a year as an engineer in Australia? Plz reply in yes or no. Thanks a lot.
how much experience do you have?
How much experience is needed? There arent any up to date videos abou how much structural engineers make in Australia@@bengthebrazilianengineerinAus
