- No plans, last minute exploring Cle Elum Salmon LA Sac area.
This day trip features Itachi, KReaper, and Gold Bear. We met up in North Bend Chevron, then head to Salmon LA Sac area. Ran in to quite a bit of snow, nothing crazy though. Then we explored the Cle Elum Lake lakebed.

This is cool. Is this the north side? Thinking I should take my kids and explore since we never been salmon la sac. Looks pretty cool. You ever camp at that spot there by the water you guys where near?
What year is your sequoia? I’ve wanted a tundra for a long time but I have a wife and 4 girls so I need something that can tow, go off toad and carry 6 people total.
Hey, mine is a 2012 Platinum, it says I can tow up to 7400 lbs which is decent I guess. I have the 2nd row captains chairs which are nice and the 3rd row is a power 60/40 split with tons of room, even for 3 adults. I would recommend a Limited or lower trim if you are planning to install a suspension lift because the Platinum rear air bag suspension is nice but a nightmare to try and switch to an actual spring suspension. I say nightmare only because no one really makes a conversion kit like the ones available for the 1st generation Sequoias. Anyway, I do love my Sequoia, it's been quite capable off road, and it's got so much room everywhere!! Lol. I think it checks all your boxes! Hope this helps! Thanks for checking out the vid.
@@OverlandBeanies Thanks for the heads up! Do all platinums come with the air ride in the back or only some that were optioned for it? I'm looking at a 2015 platinum for $39,999 with 58k miles on it. I want to lift it though!
@PainfulWhale to my knowledge, all Platinums come with the rear air bag suspension. I mean, it's not impossible to change out the rear airbag to a spring suspension but there is not a whole lot of information on how and what parts are needed. That's a pretty good deal on that Sequoia! Especially with less than 60k miles.
