    You can also watch my Part 2 of this video called : "The New Canadian Dream: Fighting for Canada 💪🇨🇦"
    ------------------------------------------------------------>>
    ok, this video is getting way more attraction than I would of ever imagined!😊 It is great, but comes with unpleasant/unkind/unnecessary/nasty/negative/condescending, basically troll like comments - If you don't fit into one of these categories, then, you might want to STOP & THINK & Self-Control before you start typing something like: "you can leave then" "I'll help you pack" "be thankful" "stop whining" "quit the whining" "sick of hearing clips like yours" etc.
    I did not force you to watch this video, you have a free will to click or click out of it as with any other videos on YT. So if you don't have something good/kind/informative/encouraging/hopeful/funny/sweet to say, then please DO NOT waste your time and poison/sour our minds with negative comments (not only for this video, but for all of my videos).
    I'm here to share some of my thoughts and hoping I can find like minded people, and give hope/encouragement to those that can relate/resonate/feel the similar way as me in many different topics of life.
    so thank you to those that visited my channel and watched my videos and even subscribed!
    I appreciate your time and giving chance to stranger like me to grow in this platform.
    Thank you again ☺🌱🌼

      Escaping elsewhere is no big deal, I have had to do it every 10 years or so. It's exhausting but can be done. It's harder as you grow older though.
      I suggest you try out the freedom community in Mexico, that might be the last place that will fall apart but you will need to revamp your entire life.
      I can't go back to my home country because everyone there is completely asleep and the problems plaguing Canada are also being implemented there, and nobody wants to band together to survive together.
      I know what I am saying sounds extreme but you have to look at the situation long term, doesn't look good worldwide. Looks like I will stay on this sinking ship that is Canada. Good luck to you.

Village has under 500 pop. has paved roads, sidewalks, street lights, street cleaning, city water and sewer, natural gas, school, firehall, police, ambulance, sports, large park, playground, even a dog park, even transit connecting to other cities for amenities.
      Young families live here and many recently moved here, men work in the oil fields (20 in 10 days home.)
      Also low income seniors can get rent subsidy from the provincial government.

    people in Canada are unwilling to implement logical solutions to the situation. we would need to reduce immigration to under 100k if not halt all immigration. we would also need to ban foreign ownership of houses and ban housing corporations all together. at the same time we would need to build 5 million houses and condo/apartments. any correction though would take a decade to improve the situation. but the problem remains people are unwilling to implement these solutions and the situation is made worse cause most MPs in Canada own multiple houses they rent so they have a vested interest in maintaining the housing bubble.

    Hi Kim. We are Brazilians and we live in Brazil. My wife and I thought about living in Canada. That was about 8 years ago. After a lot of thinking, we decided to stay. Now I'm sure it was the best thing we did. Despite all the problems a so-called third world country might have, we live in a wonderful region; very safe and beautiful. I guess the tables are turning when it comes to moving to Canada, the US and even Europe.
    We're a middle class family here, in our 40s. We can afford to own a new 300m2 house, no mortgage, paid off, with 3 bedrooms, all en suite, 3 toilets, an upstairs office with 2 rooms a toilet and a small kitchen, a music studio, a tool room, a laundry room, large open concept kitchen and living room, and a nice garden. In 2024, it is worth around 500,000 Canadian dollars max. It's funny to imagine that you might think we're multi millionaires if you picture the same house in Canada. 😅 In fact, I wonder how much it would be worth there.

Even if I can save up between 150K and 200K for down-payment, I would never qualify for a mortgage with my income. And even if I do qualify, I'd be spending all almost all my income on the mortgage and I'd die before it's paid off (not exactly in my 20's). Hi there! I'm a relatively new immigrant to Canada (been here 7.5 years now, just received my citizenship and passport a few weeks ago), and while I am seeing a massive increase in living costs here, to be honest it's all the same in the other countries I've lived in prior (Australia, NZ, & UK).
    The things that bug me the most about Canada is the lack of vacation time that is in line with the rest of the first world. In Ontario and other provinces the minimum is two weeks, but most companies think they are being super generous by giving you three weeks. Meanwhile I'm used to at least four weeks minimum, somtimes five to six depending on your role and industry. And add to that the spill over of the US work culture means your mental health definitely takes a hit when you're expected to work around the clock (that right to switch off law in Ontario is a joke), and then you are guilt tripped into not taking much time off.
    I also don't like how lawless this place seems to be - don't get me wrong there are definitely a lot of laws and rules, but there is just zero enforcement. There are areas of Toronto (and Vancouver especially) that are full of crack heads and I've seen my fair share of crazy whacked out people out on the streets or on the TTC (public transit) bothering people. But this isn't a uniquely Canadian thing you see this all over the US also.

    • @Lifeofkim365
      @Lifeofkim365  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    • @atomic_xfire

      I'm a dual citizen to the US. The problem I see with Canada is the level of red tape they have. If anything, Canada is bogged down by laws and the laws that are enforced are the ones that generate income for the country. Which means it only hits people who have proper residences and jobs (so the entire working class.)
      But this cost or living shit is unreal. This is not impacting the wealthy elite and if it gets much worse I can see the country turning into civil unrest.

    In the western world we are in the down slope of the arc that began in the 1950s and carried us through to the 1990s and 2000s. Peace, cooperation amongst nations, economic trade and growth, prosperity for the middle class were taken for granted in western countries. But with all that also came a new phenomenon, and much of manufacturing got outsourced to less costly producers like China. Our middle class started to get eviscerated, and as imported goods got cheaper and more abundant, good paying domestic manufacturing jobs got fewer and fewer. Some blame corporations for this, but we as consumers enabled it and benefited. Now we have a wealthy class who owns real estate and the means of production, and then we have everyone else who struggle to make ends meet. With salaries having been far surpassed by real estate prices, we’re spiraling down into unaffordability and hopelessness. Add to that the general break down of international cooperation, conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, climate change, covid, and the general coarsening of social norms, and this is what we get: an unhappy, uneasy feeling and a need for change into a reasonable life we used to be able to count on. I’m afraid the worst is yet to come, this arc won’t be reversed without some tragic global event, a “great reset” (nuclear war? Climate catastrophe? Revolution? Civil wars?) to erase this legacy and allow to restart anew with greater wisdom but at a very high human cost. After all, it is the great destruction of property coming out of WW2 that kickstarted the economic boom of the 1950s and 60s.

By 2021 the cost of living was untenable though I ran a cleaning company and had employees we still couldn’t afford it. So I relocated to rural Alberta where my income is a third of what it was but my cost of living is now mostly fixed. I was able to buy a home for 60k. But I have two teens who now don’t live with me full time. Quite heartbreaking actually. I feel lucky to have gotten a home and made an investment for our future but it hasn’t come easily. @@Lifeofkim365 hi Kim! Yes, I do still run the cleaning business but no longer have employees. I just clean for a half dozen clients here in the small town I live in. I hope to see more of you here on TH-cam and find out what life has in store for you and what you decide to do next if you will be leaving Canada. It’s an important topic. Everything you shared is relatable to the core. And God bless you🕊️

    I don't know what happened to my country, but I don't like it anymore. Cost of living is a big issue, but so are intolerant woke extremism and political polarization revolving around pseudo issues and pseudo solutions. Am counting the days to my retirement in Colombia. Am so looking forward to getting the f' out.

      This is what is defined as a "moronic Canadian worldview".
