Looks like a fun car, gear box seems punchy, wouldn't expect less from honda. Something about you driving your daily and just talking about it, is very relatable and relaxing.
I prefer manual in most cases, but actively looked for a DSG when I bought my GTI because they're just so damn good. People have serious insecurity issues with driving an auto. Like people will make fun of them or not treat them as equal car enthusiasts. But I really believe in most cases, if people let that shit go they would also realize how good a modern dual clutch or well made auto like in the new Supra can be.
I don’t think people should ever be hesitant about getting what they want. I just genuinely don’t understand how someone who loves driving wouldn’t really miss having a manual. I also have to reflect on the fact that I work from home and have for a long time….so my incidences of stop and go traffic are few (so I don’t experience the least fun scenario to drive a manual that much) Still, when I did last have a (nearly) hour commute, I drove a Miata and a wrx (both manuals)
My friend’s dad is a hardworking nurse and he owns a base Porsche 911. His daily driver is a Honda Civic Si. His sons each dream of getting themselves a C8 Corvette or Nissan GT-R one day, but for now, they also drive inexpensive 40mpg Honda Civic’s.
I think you said it all around the 17 minute mark, "you can use all of the car, more often". That's a lot of fun to be able to work the car without doing dangerous and stupid speeds. I've owned an M3, Mustangs GT, WRX STi. All of them fun, but you couldn't get into them hard without getting into speeds that are only fit for a track, and how often do you end up at a track, a few times a year? At least for me that was the case. 90% of the time I felt like I was putting around, swallowing fuel and not really able to use the car. Even spirited drives felt like that cars were barely stretching their legs. Cars like this and the GTI are perfect for daily use. Lots of fun and very engaging, at least for earlier versions of the GTI, not sure about the current one. For the Si, ownership is super easy on the wallet and has a massive level of utility and the ease of knowing that the build quality will be solid. They may not have the flashy power numbers or stats, but they are the most fun just because you can use all it has and not be doing anything too crazy.
Hey Tedward, I'm loving the Civic SI videos! I daily a '15 Civic Si, and I love it. My brother has a '19 Civic Si which I have driven a handful of times. They're such different cars in their own right, but both are amazing to drive. Him and I are trying to find a '22 Civic Si for my sister, which would complete the 9th, 10th, and 11th gen family 😁
I own the 22 si myself and summarized: 1. Paid markup but it’s the only 2022 car for the price range that has great reliability and aftermarket support. 2. I commute 20-30 miles every day through traffic. The car gives me ~31.5 mpg 3. This car in the orange or blue colorway stands out and looks so nice as a commuter car. 4. The fun that I have going on the highway and twists and turns while shifting is what makes this car worth it. 5. With a 7 year warranty. You don’t have to worry about ANYTHING going wrong with This car. Your wallet is only for parts ! To me this is the perfect daily driver / car enthusiast machine.
I’ve had my 2022 Civic Si for two weeks and can’t stop talking about. This car puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. This thing is a hoot. Fuel economy is fantastic the interior doesn’t make you feel like a bum and the cost of this car is the cheapest I’ve spent in the last 20 years. You can’t help but think that car designs have gone mental with over complicated infotainment systems and boat loads of electrical features. The Civic is simplicity and drivers enjoyment in spades. Highly recommend everyone take a Civic Si for a drive.
as someone whose family owned a 3rd, and 7th gen Civic, its great to see how much more refined the Civic has gotten with the 11th generation not to mention going forward into the future with some features, but keeping it classy overall
There is an indirect connection to the old school Honda Preludes which felt special and satisfying back in the 80s and 90s....not much power but lots of fun wringing out the excellent chassis and gearbox. Your Civic is a sweet deal for sure.
This is so refreshing and super thrilled you love your car. Part of what makes a car fun is the anxiety factor. Are you worried about fuel costs, maintenance, breaking down, etc. Daily drivers for enthusiasts have a tough job because they need to be fun but also stress free. Cars like the Civic Si are perfect for that. And every time we buy oil for our ‘people’s car’ GLI we have to hunt down expensive German spec’d oil. It all adds up. But you have found the right combo with your other drives. Nice job.
I just got my 2022 Sonic Gray Pearl Si last week! There were only about 4 available in the whole Atlanta metro area! I trust your judgement and completely agree that it is such a great enthusiast-daily. I feel totally okay beating the snot out of it and know it’s not going to break. I should also add that my trade-in was a 2014 Porsche Cayman with PSE,PTV,PASM, 6-speed manual, extended leather, and Bose. Two small children meant I needed something with backseats. Luckily I still have my Triumph triple for my mountain/weekend ride.
@@unprofessional7206 Same here in western NY. I got the first Si to even show up at our dealership and its September of 2022 lol. Also the 5k markup but i dont spend my actual money on other brands of cars so it is what it is.
As a new owner - 1,100 miles in a couple weeks - I find it quick enough. My other car is a 981 boxster s and I find them both fun for different reasons. Have always loved hondas and glad I’m back in one. Sold my 2017 brz (which I loved). And part of the reason I got the si was that the gr86/brz was so hard to get. Figure I’ll own this for three years and let the hype die down on the 86 and perhaps get that …..or not. The Honda is great. Also - gr corrolla or civic type r will be easily a year away from attain ability (as you’d said) and dealer markup before that will be nuts!!
Civic SI is def up there for when I get my license and can buy my first car. It just looks so damn good for being a civic. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the maroon-ish colored seats, and the artificial sound. Otherwise, it's a wonderful car and Honda did a great job in keeping the true, manual transmission enthusiast car alive. Nice video by the way, keep it up!
You dont want a new car for a first car. Everyone wants a nice new awesome cool first car. my buddy didn't believe me when I told him dont get something newer as a first car and now hes suffering with a $540 monthly insurance payment and a $260 monthly car payment on top of that. and that cars a 2014. its not even new new and hes getting destroyed on insurance. Find a 2004 or so car and drive a year or two and then get a new car after that.
my first car is a 22 civic si, I saved up for over a year to put a down payment on it. It is also my first manual car. I have not had too many problems learning how to drive it, besides stalling it a few times. The seats are amazing, they dont look very comfortable but once you sit in them it feels very secure and low. My insurance bill is $66/month and my payment is $230/month. If you are going to get the Civic Si for your first car, please put a large down payment on so you don't go into crippling debt.
Im loving the si vids because compared to some of the other cars you make videos on, an si feels like something I could actually get my hands on and drive
hey tedward, I own a 22 civic si in that same color. It is my first manual car and learning it has been very challenging, but so far after only 600 miles put on it, I can say it is a very economical and fun car.
How'd u get it off the dealership? I Wanna get a new manual car too but have only practiced a few times. Wouldn't want to embarrass myself in front of the dealership crew lol
@@yvngbucko just be confident! Did the same with my 86, had a little bit of practice beforehand, but was worried about screwing up. Every clutch is different, so any good dealer is going to understand adjusting
Confidence is key I had practice a few times in a parking lot so I knew the basic and I learned by watching Ted and others and I drove off with my 22 si and just drove it has two close calls but you have to remain calm and get yourself out of it and keep going practice makes perfect
Cars since 2015 have all gotten so fancy, even "budget" or "entry level" cars. My 17 GTI is super nice and fancy inside compared to anything I've owned previously. It has things I always considered super fancy, and never thought I'd have like heated seats, keyless entry, etc...
My first car i just got in september, '21 Kia Forte GT2. Nice FUN daily driver, has luxurious accessories i never thought id have like heated/ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Pretty crazy
@@Szcza04 I bought a 2020 Kia Forte gt manual 20k miles later and absolutely love it. No regrets. Been a Honda and Toyota guy for the longest time glad I made the move. Great cars for the dollar
Yeah I want something fast, who doesn’t want a fast car? But the faster the car the more expensive it is to maintain. Premium gas is $6 a gallon by where I live and I went to the grocery store and it was $200 for a weeks worth of food. There just comes a point where we need to make tough decisions and sacrifices and honestly this car hits that sweet spot where you can still have fun and not break the budget.
Your comments on fuel economy and range are a great point. Something that people probably don’t think much about, but $200 each month (at least by the amount you drive) is serious money.
My take on the manual. I wouldn’t say that my manhood is pinned to driving a manual, but my driving persona is. There’s a modicum of pride associated with “getting it” and carrying the banner of “save the manuals” with other believers. If - as you say - someone wants to just jump in a car and forget about everything and drive…. Then they don’t sound like driving enthusiasts to me. There’s nothing wrong with that, but driving for the pure fun of it seems incomplete to me without a manual (at least in a sports car or sports sedan (and usually most everything else I’d like to drive). The emergence of (admittedly) great dual clutch autos have made this also a generational thing…..as more often, younger drivers focus only on the acceleration advantage w the dual clutch vs the engagement advantage with a proper manual. Perfect example of this dynamic is in this civic. So glad Honda still only offers the Si in a manual. It would be a far lesser car without it.
Honda has always been the go-to for "inexpensive fun cars," and the best thing is that you can mod them so easily to get so much more speed out of them. ♥♥♥
Manual compact daily drivers for the win! Love driving my stick Mazda3 hatch, even here in downtown Seattle, which is literally perched on a hill. Doesn’t handle quite like the new Civics do (primarily bc torsion beam rear), but I much prefer the sound and power delivery of an NA 2.5 to a 1.5/1.6T personally, and I was willing to trade some handling and a couple mpg’s for that. And at Lake Washington C&C, it still gets a few looks and questions here and there.
I have a Hyundai Tucson AWD. It is equipped with a 7 speed dry dual clutch. While it can be a bit jerky from time to time, it gives the little crossover some character and makes the driving feel more direct. I agree that Hyundais are not the most fun cars, but for the 230 000km my car has it has been solid (im the 2nd owner) and quite fun too! Loving the Si videos as always!
What I love about the civics is their great aftermarket parts availability. I think with the right alterations, one can get the power they need out of their SI.
An interesting video (12 months from now) would be to compare the total cost of your first year with the Si vs. your last year with the M3. It will be some real world data of (i) depreciating new cars with no maintenance costs vs. (ii) maintenance-heavy old cars that have mostly finished depreciating.
I feel like a Prius is the ultimate car reviewer daily driver. The 55+mpg will save you money when traveling, and boost your appreciation for cool cars
I agree with you about the correct applications for manuals! And honestly, I tend to prefer the cars where the manual suits the car better because I value cars that are all about involvement, and it's just another way to be involved in the driving experience.
As somebody who daily's a 21 forte gt manual, and frequently drives to the dead center of manhattan in it, it's not hard and I encourage people to drive stick. However, I don't control other people and most people are lazy.
Yep also local here, drove my FBO 2020 Si coupe with an aftermarket clutch for a long time through all that heavy traffic + gwb. Now I’m in a 2022 BRZ 6 speed and still I’d always pick a manual over auto for those short bursts of fun moments
@@SteezyKenny exactly short bursts of fun moment, some people just drive cars to get from point a to b. Nothing wrong with an auto, and they can be fun as long as your engine is fun.
It’s not that they are lazy. It’s just more convenient for them to drive an automatic over a manuel transmission. You don’t know how the person is and what if he’s one of the hardest workers at his job? Doesn’t mean he’s lazy
This is similar to how I felt after I sold my Audi B5 S4 and got into a MK7 Golf Sportwagen. It just works and I'm happy. It's so much better in all the practical ways I used my car and I spend like 50% as much on fuel to go like 80% further per tank. For a daily I definitely recommend the thing that does the boring stuff VERY well. If I had to daily my C5 FRC I wouldn't be anywhere near as happy...
When I had my 2020 Honda Fit 6 speed, I got 46 MPG with a 10.6 gallon tank ... so I was looking at nearly 500 mile range on a full tank. Hypermiling once I took it 463 miles on 8.846 gallons which cost $23 at the time. I have a 94 Accord now with a 17.1 gallon tank and I can get 33 MPG with that, so I can get mid 500 miles to a tank which is definitely up there. But that's still not the best I ever owned, my old 2012 Highlander Hybrid got 35 MPG in summer with a 17.1 gallon tank. I nearly went 600 miles between fillups once with that.
God I love the look of the new Civics. The last gen was really bad imo for me, but this new gen is killer! I am seeing these on the road and they look CLEAN. I am so excited to get the CTR for this gen!!
This is what I always tell people. There’s a standard now, there aren’t many outright “bad” cars anymore. Materials are better, Sound deadening is better, etc.
Another perspective I'd like to offer is that I'm a big car enthusiast and loved driving stick in my old Subaru manual or my brother's old Bronco but due to a major surgery on my hip, bad knees, and other issues I can't comfortably drive a manual every day so I daily cars with auto's. Hopefully one day tho I can get a weekend car with a manual
while we are on the topic of these 30k sport daily drivers, I went to the NY autoshow tuesday and it was great! Was originally excited to sit in the elantra N but I left stunned at the jetta GLI/GTI, I cant believe I gotta get myself into a GTI! Hopefully we can get a tedward review on one soon!
i agree when u say u can have fun and be practical. i had a 8th gen fa5 Si for 7 years and i miss the hell out of that thing. and that was what it was, the best fun for a daily driver
I’ve been binging these videos for a couple days, I’m not trying to be a fanboy or stunt I’m genuinely interested in buying one just like this, for the gearbox, not flashy but just enough
Your notes that you can drive smoother in traffic is true. My moms 2013 dodge grand caravan is a 6 speed auto, the thing lugs a lot in traffic, meanwhile when i had my 07 ford focus it was nice smooth sailing in stop and start traffic
Interesting, the choices we make as adults. Impacts us longevity-wise. Whereas, when we were kids(I'm in my 50s, so longer for me than you), "TOMORROW" would not matter. Well Done, Tedward. I am genuinely happy that you are happier now, with your grownup decision. I mean that in the most humble, and mature way.
RE the concerns about wearing the dct clutch, while they definitely can wear the fact that they’re wet clutches means they can take quite a bit more heat than a standard clutch so it’s not really worth worrying about it too much as long as you’re not constantly riding it.
The comment about how even base level cars today are so decent. So true, I have a 2019 Impreza base and have loved it. One of the cheaper cars out there but so solid
One extra plus for the SI, is that it can take regular fuel per Honda, you lose some HP, but no knock or other issues. I hope to buy one in a few months, and will plan to use 93, but if gas gets real expensive again, its nice that regular is supported option.
You are really inspiring me to trade my 2018 M2 for this SI, as you say it is really expensive to run a BMW as a daily with the consumable costs and frankly the SI just looks like a damn good car overall and I do need more space at this point in my life.
@@papa_pt Tires ($1300 - $1400), tire mounting, oil ,pads, parts in general and getting serviced are pretty costly. I used to have a BRZ and I miss how much cheaper it is to maintain.
They’re such good cars. Nearly perfect answer to the enthusiast daily driver. On the question of the manual transmission, my wife is literally a middle aged school teacher and she daily drives her 2021 Type R and LOVES it. Her last cars were a ‘19 Type R, ‘18 Si; prior to that it was all about having space for three children so she was driving Honda Pilots and Mini vans. (She has been a loyal Honda buyer….although I tried: we test drove a Golf R, GTI’s and the Audi RS3, but for the money and deals from Honda, she has stayed with them.)
That's the dream, bro! I'm sure a lot of people will say you lucked out with an enthusiast-driven wife lol. Can't wait to keep my '15 si for the long run
@@oneayeopen4492 I totally lucked out that my wife digs cars! When we first met back in 1989, I taught her how to drive a manual and she was instantly hooked. But then she had to suffer through the “young family” years of mini vans and SUV’s (although we did try to order our first Honda Odyssey with a manual trans….the dealer was horrified😂)…. When our oldest son started driving and we no longer needed a family bus, her consolation for all those years of sacrifice was a Type R. My sacrifice is I don’t get a 911 in this life….I have three boys and I promised to buy them all their first car (2 down, one to go).
@@j_merlotte5467 not a huge difference between the two cars, but the 21 is a little nicer to live with. I personally preferred the colour of the 19 (red) over her flat grey 21 model. I’ll tell you the biggest surprise was just how good the Si was! For the money, they are FANTASTIC cars! But the type R is truly remarkable, I’m amazed every time I drive it! Ours is stock other than 18” Enkei wheels with pilot 4S tires and a Delrin shift knob/Acuity quick release shift boot ring. The stock knob will brand your hand on a hot day!
There’s a company called axion industries that has been working on the civic sport L15 turbo (180hp) in that chassis which makes about 250whp I believe with bolt ons and tune
Thanks for the transmission talk. There’s a time and place for each transmission. I definitely prefer driving manual, but there are cars that would be significantly worse if they were with a manual.
Trying my hardest to find it for $32k, but dealers in my area want 35-8k 😭😭 I might have to shoot for a 9th gen but I’d much rather have the 11th. Your video help me so much
What people don't understand about the Si is the target costumer. You are young, working and trying to get some money saved up, for you cars are expensive, gas is expensive, tires and brakes are expensive. Among the other more powerful hot "hatches" (even tho the si isn't a hatch) it is the cheapest to buy, cheaper to insure, gets better fuel economy, tires and brakes cost less not to mention it keeps a normal suspension that will both last longer and cost less than an adaptive one.
you know what makes this a Honda? That rev hang. I have owned two Honda's and both manual and rev hang is ALWAYS there...you adapt to it though. Love my Honda's LOL
My VW Passat can get in the upper 30’s/low 40’s MPG on highways with a gas engine, it’s awesome! The highest range we’ve gotten is 700 miles, absolutely wild.
I guess it’s all relative. I just went from driving a Kia Forte LX to the Civic Si and this car feels pretty fast and pretty powerful to me relative to what I used to drive.
I want to like it, but I’m disappointed about the omission of heated seats and steering wheel. I don’t want the Integra. The Honda six-speed manual is a main reason for getting the Si. The satisfyingly positive engagement as you shift into each gear is 👌🏼The Civic is such a good package. The mechanical refinement is 8/10. The interior and exterior styling are 9.9/10. Never mind that the efficiency is incredible (450 mi. range 🤯) and it’s priced for affordability. Great car, enjoy it in good health!
Granted I have a naturally aspirated fit, but all I've had to do in 11 years of ownership is fluids. Pads, rotors, calipers and drum brakes (more of a f new England corrosion and letting the car sit thing). Coils, plugs and ac compressor (Notoriously bad in Hondas replaced with aftermarket) - super reliable and manual trans is super easy to drive in traffic. Strongly looking at the si as a replacement
In the past I have heard you mention wanting to do more HPDE events, having an SI Vs the E92 M3 makes that so much more reasonable. The 4th gear pull on the highway to highlight the robust 1.5l 200hp was also very entertaining lol
The SI just makes so much sense to me as a consumer. I have a basic Ford focus so ANYTHING with more power is a plus and I've always wanted a manual car. This car is incredible for the price and instead of paying 5-10k more on a faster car I'd rather use that money on mods. Hope to get this car very soon! Good video!
All good observations. But once you get down to the groundwork part, you'll realize what the present pri$$$ing scenario is, if you don't already. Good luck paying anything under $35k.
A Focus ST is iMO a much better car. Dont know about pricing and availability in the US. Also the Focus has a bit more Displacement so i would think that it needs a bit more fuel. But FWD,200Hp,6Speed Manual is just such a good combo and luckily there are many cars in this segment.
@@lukass.6609 I like ST's but not gonna lie I'd rather perform open heart surgery on myself than get a THIRD focus lmao. I know it's different but it's still a focus.
I just love how you Americans call 200hp slow, the average hp from a new car sold in the EU is 160hp. From my point of view anything that gets 9sec to 60 or less is enough and below 7s is pretty quick. But i guess that is also because your cars are a lot cheaper, so you get more power for the same price. The price differences are just ridiculous, take the mustang gt which starts at 37 000 USD, and in the Czech Republic (where I am from) a base GT starts at 62 000 USD. BTW love your reviews Tedward.
@@lucasdoll8618 funny thing is that even with new cars sold, the manual is still popular. Take the new Octavia last year only 26% sold where automatic.
Hehe my Hyundai Elantra has only 123 HP and I do fine with it. I wish I could afford a 200hp car but fuel and taxes are so big here that you need to let it go
@@tamasbogdan9493 exactly what I would give for a 200hp fiesta ST. But my 140hp diesel mondeo estate is fast and fun enough but that is to no small part because of the manual without it i would be even more boring.
I’m at 18,096 miles on my 22 Si and I also hydroplaned 5 days ago. I should really stop doing fwd burnouts. I did a tire rotation and moved the higher tread to the front. My rear end slipped out and hit the highway barrier on the 101 in Studio City.
Great breakdown on what makes the Si a good daily driver for someone that’s trying to strike a balance between efficiency and fun. I thought hard about one (as well as an Electra N but you nailed it with the resale part), but I ultimately ended up choosing it’s big brother, the Accord 2.0T Sport, because I don’t have a commute and I wanted an auto (I have elbow issues now that I’m old lol). Honda just knows how to make fun, balanced, efficient cars. This is my 6th Honda vehicle and after my last car being a MOPAR, I now remember what makes Honda’s so much fun, despite maybe not being considered “fast”. All the best luck with the Si!
I really like the '22 SI but I just bought a '20. They're both awesome little cars for the price range, especially with how bonkers the market is. I love driving mine.
My mother about a year ago got a 2019 Nissan 370Z and the thing is nice and very fast. Like I didn’t know Nissan made such a nice car. Like it gets attention and people ask what kind of car it is and we tell them it’s a Nissan and they are shocked. That is people that are not car people. I really think that brands like Chevy, Kia Honda, Hyundai are really stepping it up and becoming a little more luxurious. The point is you don’t need to get a Lamborghini, Mercedes or Audi to have a nice car with nice features that looks good on the road.
You can stop trying to convince us why you made this purchase. It’s a good car so enjoy it. You don’t have to explain why you bought which you do every time you drive it. You either like it or you don’t and we don’t need an explanation since most of us drive regular vehicles anyway. Their are alot of brand loyal people out there and your not gonna make everyone happy who cares what they think.

2:00 I love that Tedward respects manuals and automatics equally. Car enthusiasts like him are difficult to come by.
Sadly I have to say that is true. Although in my opinion it should be the standard to respect other drivers
He didn’t just blindly say both were great always, he gave solid reasoning why you would choose one over the other.

I think you said it all around the 17 minute mark, "you can use all of the car, more often". That's a lot of fun to be able to work the car without doing dangerous and stupid speeds.
Everything you said in this video is exactly how I felt about my 1991 CRX Si. Those were the days.
I've never driven any car with automatic transmission. And you're right, manual gearbox is one of Honda's true strengths.
And automatics are their weakness. My 2001 civic has a very weird transmission.
@@mattmalenda6585 those transmissions are known to be bad. Later gens are bulletproof

@@RyanRoadReaper yeah I’m aware. It does funky stuff when cold and runs fine when warm, at 155k miles. I got lucky.

How much did you pay for it?!

Just like other cars with fake sound I’d say just find wherever the speaker is connected to and disconnect it. Also throw on an aftermarket exhaust.

Grey is not my favourite colour but it works on this 1! And it's clear you love the car as it is. Great purchase!
Guys I think he likes his civic
2.5 has less power than an 1.6t...
Just get the older Mazda 3 like the 2016. I have one
Watching people cry about 200 hp when I drive a 140 hp car 💀
Yea i drive a 148hp mazda 3 with dogshit torque. I bet this thing would be a huge upgrade
I got a 2011 Toyota Camry surprisingly in stick and it’s a 6 speed with 180hp pretty fun

Picked mine up today, Sonic Gray, and traded a previous gen M240i xDrive for it. I finally enjoy driving again.
The perfect Civic Si review 🙌
Is 21 GT a clutch-by-wire?
It’s not that they are lazy. It’s just more convenient for them to drive an automatic over a manuel transmission. You don’t know how the person is and what if he’s one of the hardest workers at his job? Doesn’t mean he’s lazy

This is similar to how I felt after I sold my Audi B5 S4 and got into a MK7 Golf Sportwagen. It just works and I'm happy. It's so much better in all the practical ways I used my car and I spend like 50% as much on fuel to go like 80% further per tank. For a daily I definitely recommend the thing that does the boring stuff VERY well. If I had to daily my C5 FRC I wouldn't be anywhere near as happy...
those B5 S4s were BEAUTIFUL though. I miss mine... I don't miss it eating oil or the turbos failing though haha
One of the main reasons I’m looking to get an si is because they have solid resale value and good on gas fun little daily driver

Great choice! It's such a nice car.
Sadly, we are just going to get a hybrid model with CVT and the Type R in Europe.
I'm 16 and daily a 15 civic ex 5 speed, and even with the 140hp 1.8, it's a very fun and almost perfect first car.
One extra plus for the SI, is that it can take regular fuel per Honda, you lose some HP, but no knock or other issues. I hope to buy one in a few months, and will plan to use 93, but if gas gets real expensive again, its nice that regular is supported option.

Curious how she likes her 21 ctr vs the 19?

I guess it’s all relative. I just went from driving a Kia Forte LX to the Civic Si and this car feels pretty fast and pretty powerful to me relative to what I used to drive.
DD a Honda Manual is actually not too bad its easy to manage it. Coming from a 07 Fit GD3 Manual myself.
Coils, plugs and ac compressor
(Notoriously bad in Hondas replaced with aftermarket) - super reliable and manual trans is super easy to drive in traffic.
I love this channel. Who doesn’t like saving money?

Yeah same here, from France. Also to see that it’s “rare” to have a manual in the US when here in Europe most of cars are manuals.

I love driving mine.
cant believe how badly i still want this car after a year
My mother about a year ago got a 2019 Nissan 370Z and the thing is nice and very fast.
I feel like this is comparable to my 2021 jetta R-line, 6 speed manual, 1.4 turbo, but it also has heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats.
