- Kevin Spacey will be arraigned on a charge of felony sexual assault next month. Michael O'Keefe, the the Cape and Islands district attorney in Massachusetts, tells the Boston Globe that Spacey will appear January 7 at Nantucket District Court.The charge stems from an incident that occured on the island back in 2016. The victim's mother, Heather Unruh, said last year that Spacey repeatedly stuck his hand down the pants of her 18-year-old son. The boy was eventually able to get away when a woman walked over to him while the actor was in the bathroom and said: 'Run!' At the time, Spacey was trying to convince the boy to join him at a party said Unruh, who now hopes to find the mystery woman who she believes saved her son from a far worse fate.

The current case against him has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. First, the alleged victim was an adult, so despite the media fascination with the word "teen," it is irrelevant to the sexual assault charge. Second, the alleged victim admits to misrepresenting himself as being over 21, so there's not much strength in the argument that Spacey plied him with alcohol. The restaurant server supplying the alcohol failed to card him, which only strengthens Spacey's defense. Third, the alleged victim appears to have been a willing participant up to a certain point, and was never held against his will. He only exercised his option to leave the situation when a third person advised him that he should, even AFTER Spacey made his alleged assault. Finally, the narrative makes it quite clear that it is the mother that is pushing the criminal charges, not the alleged victim. I'm not trying to trivialize true instances of sexual assault. I'm just stating the fact that the felony case against Spacey appears to be, at least based on publicly available information, extremely weak.

Actually, I was one of the ones who never believed Rapp. I also know that when a lion, panther, etc. falls a lot of small animals come running to try and feed off the corpse. But you never know, sometimes the beast gets back up and those small animals have gotten too close to those teeth. -- Spacey really is a marvolous actor. His only mistakes in the mess that I saw was the apology his lawyer had him tweet and coming out at that moment. Never admit to that you didn't do and (I don't recall if he said he was gay or bisexual) but that wasn't the most opportune time to tell us. I honestly could care less.
