Nice Job spread 👍 . There are some real rubbish grits out there, but the bostik & Thistle bond it are probably best quality i’ve come across personally & feb blue also is good 👍
Crock's for Plastering ??? .... You must have Pebble-dashed Socks at the end of the day 😄 ..... Glad You called it a 'small' ceiling 🤠- there are 'some' here on TH-cam that'd call that a Days work 😂
Hahaha they were surprisingly clean when I finished but my feet could’ve looked like I stuck em in a chicken coop for ten mins 🤣🤣yeah only a small one repairing and covering a loft hatch😁👍🏻
Yeah I’ve seen a few people do that. To be honest I make sure I lay on my coats as neat as possible so really I wouldn’t have to lay in but I do it anyway. That’s how dad taught me so it’s embedded in my brain now and a habit. Thanks :)
Just finished a job today Ryan and the builder used blue grit on the ceiling and a couple of walls I think he used it cos he got it on offer but it was a nightmare 3 hr sets over what felt like gravel. 😡
Oh nooooo that’s not ideal Jason. We’ll never use blue. That happened to us before the builder got the blue because it was cheaper even tho we told him to get green. Jokes on him because we used more plaster just trying to pack it out because the blue was so thick. Bloody nightmare hate the stuff
Thanks mate. Yeah we just like green grit and know it works well if we get the chance I might try the yellow grit. I’m hearing good stuff about it think it’s worth a try
You made that look easy
Thanks mate. Years of practice and just taking my time no need to rush :)
Nice crocs 👍
Comfort is key😉
i love the green
We love green it goes on so nice and gives a nice finish
@@Ryan_Clarke_Plastering how long does it take to dry before you can skim ontop? currently using sbr :D

Thanks mate. Appreciate that. I’m trying to make as many videos as I can when I can. Not always possible on some jobs👍🏻

Great video buddy. Where do you get those giant dust sheets?
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. I think dad gets them from screw fix. They’re poly backed sheets. Lovely sheets because nothing bleeds through them

Is the green grit the bostik stuff?
Yes mate it’s the bostik stuff👍🏻
Is this lime plaster?
No mate it’s just traditional multi finish
Great job again can I ask why u use green grit ryan

@@Ryan_Clarke_Plastering its shit
Don’t be tempted to buy the blue grit just because it’s a bit cheaper …
Why
Yeah I know it’s horrible stuff hahaha. Nasty to paint on and thicker skim too
@@gavinwilliams2240 it’s just not as nice to apply or skim over. Probably best applied with a brush
Water it down a little bit and add some PVA it’s lovely to go over
Did the footwear make you faster? 😂 yellow pre grit- try it.
Hahaha. Yeah if I need to go extra fast I stick the crocs on😉😂🤣
Wooooow beautiful sharing Big like👍🌻❤ 🪴👷
Thankyou. Happy you like😁🙌🏻👍🏻
masking tape your coving ffs
If you’re a good enough spread you won’t get it all over the coving😉
