Which camera app?
Which camera app? I bought the the camera and have tried 10 different aps. None work with my Android 10 device. Says it is OTG compatible.

Though this is 4 years old the picture quality is good. I moved to a town house and noticing some of the vents don't flow as much I started looking down in them and found stuff. It would be interesting to get one of those cameras and see what is in them. I just know the AC coils will need cleaned. This place had no one in it for 2 years aside from maybe the previous owner checking up on it to make sure nothing has gone wrong. Depending on what I find I may need to try to hook it and pull it out. I already found a bag that had cookies in it down one and a piece of insulation and some nails in another. It is obvious to me now that whoever built this place focused on speed and they just swept the floor debris down the vents thinking no one would find it. Well I did. I am not overly upset as long as it won't cost me a fortune to fix their negligence but it is still disgusting. I wish I knew a wood worker to get to bring his dust collector over and hook it to the vents one by one and see what it pulls out. A dust collector is like a shop vac but much more powerful and even has a larger hose and are designed to pull a TON more air flow than any regular vacuum can! I may get one of those cameras you have. I am only looking at reviews because many of these are Chinese generic junk and thus a waste of money. It would be nice to get something that can take photos too so I can show the neighbors. Next thing you know they will want to borrow the camera and look inside their disgusting vents. Maybe they have a similar problem where the airflow is not so strong on the second floor too! I hope when I snake a camera down in there I find some money (we can all dream).
About ten years ago I bought one from the tool shop that has about a 3inch screen, yeah it works and has been heaps handy, but was about $150. This one, if it has the ability to plug In to a tablet for a good view, I reckon it's awesome value.

This is an awesome tool for the money. The only initial issue I had was getting use to the focusing. Other than that you can't beat it for the price.
Good review! I see you use Mobizen to screen capture. Love that Android App. I see this is a 720P camera. I've read there are 1080P ones... off looking for one!

Wow you really can't go wrong with this.. basic, simple, and pretty damn clear... I remember when boroscopes were like $600 for a bulky handheld device with a total shit picture that ate up batteries, but it was the most trick thing in my toolbox at the time lol
Pocket calculators started out way expensive, too.

the app "usb endoscope camera for android" got mine to show a picture, the app can take pics but the videos are black. i figure pictures are better than nothing.

I tried 3 different phones before I got it to work. Huawei Moto7 and then a Samsung, and if the 45-degree mirror doesn't work it probably has a plastic protective film that must be removed

From what I can work out, you need to go in to your phones administration file and activate utc and another setting, im yet to do it but that's the problem apparently

I have one too - used it to figure out how to get my car door opened after the outside handle quit working and I foolishly set the child lock on the door and closed it... Went down through the window opening while the window was rolled down. :)
Child locks prevent the inside handle from working...
If the window is rolled down couldn't you just out your hand inside and open the door? 😂🤦♂️

What screen record app was that on your phone?
It was just built in to the random webcam app (dont have the phone handy right now) There are some pretty good standalone ones on the Play Store as well.
I've tried 10 aps. Nothing works.
I got one that was a serious POS. It wouldnt do anything.You cannot focus it and the LED over washed everything. The app was terrible. It was hard to see anything and it kept acting up. Garbage for the money. Buyer beware.

Honestly this looks like it sucks as much as all the other cheap endoscopes. Very short fixed focus and dim light mean you can't use it for stuff like looking in wall cavities. As far as I can tell you need to spend about £300 to get something decent.
