When it comes to saying it best, no one can describe that being that feeling better than the Race Series & Slip Race Director himself, Matt P., as he aptly put it, "the 2024 Immersion Research Headwaters Racing Series standings are complete and final! Once again, well done Erin and Elijah! And thanks so much to our 2024 title sponsor, Immersion Research as well as our other sponsors, Highwater Hobbies and *Stonebridge Brewing*. Please support these sponsors with your purchases, and thank them in person when you do. Elijah and Erin may have established a dynasty, but they won't remain royalty forever! Nobody had a perfect 40 this year, and Elijah squeezed out his title by only ONE POINT above three guys all gunning for the crown. Erin was only 3 points ahead of the women's runner up, 16-year-old US Wildwater team member, Ava Harchak. It was a tight series! This series is now an annual thing, and with legit CROWNS for the King and Queen, it can live on. Watch this page early in 2025 to get amped and ready for the racing season. See you next year!"

I am the Race Director of the annual North Branch Blast Downriver Race, held each spring at the "Bloomington Section" of the North Branch of the Potomac River during either the second or fourth whitewater release (dependent on the schedule in how it aligns for the third and fourth races of this series).
