i think there is a big untapped market of players who just love to customise everything and hang out with their f2p friends!

I believe they already stated that they pretty much can't change the PoH system because of how ingrained it is in the spaghetti code. But it would be nice if they somehow did rework it

Runescape should get rid of f2p and make runescape group ironman fresh start servers kinda like what genshin impact or balders gate or minecraft 4 people servers to maybe 8 for f2p that is hosted thru our networks and treated like dark souls see you can better learn how to deal with cheaters and bots while hosting less and saving more money as people find the f2p experience is this good as all of runescape you can play with your friends for 60$ one time payment or and free being the people who can join the people who paid 60 for now or something but getting rid of pay to win for them is key and we would restart even at base xp

@@estherlecter destroy the game you dont pay for yeah sounds like you care so much vs a game your no longer expected to pay for because no one expects anything out of you anymore as you host your own servers or buy membership to play on main servers get it man child
Wonder if this might be an entry into the "cozy" RPG area. That area seems to be a major push right now. I can see basing on RS with a lighter take and a lesser emphasis on combat per se.
Pretty sure the combat beta 4th conjure is gunna be pretty epic and overpower a lot of bosses to the point of afkable.
An easy rework - if you are 200mil in a particular skill(s) and get an XP lamp for that skill, you can allocate that XP towards another skill :)
instead of mobile, if they develpoed rs3 on unreal engine, and allowed wasd movement (as an option) it would have been done by now, since rs3 map isn't as big as other mmos

I wouldn't like the wasd movement in Rs, I think its essence is to be a point & click mmo
The core framework for character movement in the game engine disallows floating point values, which is why we are relegated to a static grid. You would have to radically redesign many core functions of the game engine in order for that to work, but that alone would have a cascade effect affecting so much else in the game.

I'm really surprised we haven't heard anything about a roadmap yet, especially after OSRS just announced theirs this weekend
The mods have basically said as they screwed up last year's so badly, I think mainly it was the heros pass was mentioned, they are now reluctant to release one.

I'm not following you, you said you want to see combat achievements in runescape like old school has, but we already have those don't we? The ones you were showing like "kill this boss x times" or "kill this boss this specific way" we already have
Also loving the idea for more skilling bosses and the woodcutting and fletching rework! I think they should implement your idea of adding the new metals to arrow heads and then pair up the same tier log as the only shaft that will work with them, rather than all logs making the same shafts just in different amounts
You’re right we do have achievements like that, but there isn’t really any rewards for it. Also the achievements we have are mainly just kill count and log completions

More achievements would absolutely be welcome, especially the the ones that add various fun challenges to bosses and similar, à la "Lumbridge Strikes Back" (kill rax using bronze).
These would also work great for non-PvM content, and if designed correctly, encourage players to move outside of their comfort zone.

Is RuneScape worth getting into in 2024? I’ve never played any type of RuneScape before but nothing out looks interesting so I was thinking about giving RuneScape a go
If you’re okay getting into a game that has lots of grinds then RuneScape is great. You can pick between old school RuneScape and RuneScape 3. Old school has more players and is the game similar to what it was back in the day. Levelling up is also much slower. RuneScape 3 is faster and has ability based combat and is mainly built around defeating bosses
RuneScape is the only good game ever made
RuneScape3 is better for beginners in any MMORPG, it has a ton of things to do at the point it can be overwhelming but when you are in mid-level it becomes easy to play

That "thing" that jagex is working on looks not very good so far. Should have put more money into rs4 or something rs fans would actually play. Theres already an oversaturation of open world survival games
Wow that RS "next gen" game looks rough. Everything from the artstyle to the UI just screams low effort, which I guess is the name of the game for any new game from Jagex.

@krenkomobboss5037 Yes it's a fun and hilarious game and the price is worth it.
It's essential pokemon but their your slave and they can craft for you and you can use them to fight or kill other Pals or aka Pokémons. You can also get guns like the galling gun and your Pals can use them while your mounted on your Pal and you can also hold your Pals and squeeze them and they'll turn into a flamethrower. Their's also turf and Pal wars and it looks like gang or racism war it's hilarious lol. You can also catch other trainers and turn them into your slaves.
If your Pals are resting too much and not working you can execute them to lol
If they put more challenges in they can’t add it to the comp tasks. 2024 will have 0 contents though other than cb rework
