    Please provide the dimensions for the compression spring. I have to complete the assembly. The video doesn't show the modeling of the compression spring.

    Your video was good and useful. I have to make this too but in Siemens NX and thats my problem. If I do the vise in Inventor, it is possible to convert it to NX ???

      AL Arabi We can not say about Siemens NX software because we didn't used that. But we recreated it with SolidWorks.

      We have worked a lot on Autodesk and find it much convenient to use...Its a matter of personal choice.
      You can watch the creation of this model with both softwares and decide what suits you more.
      Sorry we do not know which software is more used in the industry.

    When did you create "Part 6"? I used "Part 3" in subassembly 2 instead. They are of different dimensions.

      Johannes Poser We are copying a previously created parametric thread profile and pasting it to the current sketch. That would be utilized to cut thread in the stud.

    At 42:22 I set those measurements for the thread and it says "inappropriate thread size", I tried the Iso metric too and same answer..what's the problem?

      Alice Veronica Conti It is just for demonstration purpose there is nothing specific. After activating the thread tool click the hole and the tool would select a appropriate sized thread automatically.
