After reestablishing our channel (around 2 year back we deleted all our videos to add branding clips on each video) the first video to cross the 100K (One Lakh) views mark… Thanks for watching and keep watching dear viewers…. #autodesk Inventor...
Thanks for the great video. When I use 'pattern' for the link-chain , they actually doesnt arrange in the right way, in the arc of the circle, link-chains still parallel with the surface which i use 'constrant' in the previous step. really need help
Quang Huy Nguyen Hua The pattern is tricky one. Fill the values and apply the settings of the tools exactly displayed in the video. If it is giving problem you have to recreate the file. Watch the modified video at the following link to understand the process easily th-cam.com/video/Y5mJqJ1fsyc/w-d-xo.html
Mikael watch the modified version of this video on the following link:- th-cam.com/video/Y5mJqJ1fsyc/w-d-xo.html There all the process is shown more clearly with audio narration.
See that the pattern will have a flaw on the curves. The points are equidistant in arc lenght. Any way to get them equidistant in secants on the curves.
Can you help please: this method seems to constrain the links to the path at the centre point, but really these should be attached to the path at the axis of the pins and holes. Constraining at the centre point means the axes of adjacent links don't line up with one another. Is there a work around for this?
At that time I am just opening the visibility of work planes (XZ, YZ, XY) of Master part and the Assembly and giving mate constrains to properly position it.
You have to change viewing mode while working on your Assembly from "Assembly to Modeling", this should correct the issue. This tab is shown in the Model tab while working on Inventor. Hope this helps!
Now I understand why you have set it from 320mm to 1mm. I have been dying to find out why was my chain acting up every time it came to turn around the sprocket. Apparently you also had the same problem?
Thanks for the nice comment. You should watch the modified version of this video that will easier to understand.... th-cam.com/video/Y5mJqJ1fsyc/w-d-xo.html

Every 5 minutes in ALL of my software I do Save AS and increment file name... I don't want ANY software to get me in the ass after 4 hours of editing effort, when some operation is "undo-able".
Glad there’s audio explianing
superb

How do you did the move at 7:22? Make the YZ plane visible but i can't make the move?

Thanks, you guys did a good job..

Can the gear rotate with the chain?
Hello sir I need help regarding chain assembly. Sketches not available when inserted as i- part in Assembly
Mention the exact video time.
Can you help please: this method seems to constrain the links to the path at the centre point, but really these should be attached to the path at the axis of the pins and holes. Pattern on the sketch doesn't show up in the browser menu in the assembly. Help?

hello!
Can you explan this? Thank you very much!
good work !
hi,very good,tanks
+ابوالفضل جعفری You are welcome.
That is the origin centre point of the Chain Link.
thanks but circular pattern is not showing on the assembly in the last stage
have the ability to make a simulation of such parts with a mat of chips for example could make a simple simulation?
I'm not sure what you did on 7:22 It looks like you duplicated the plane but I can't see haw you did it?
Can not understand tell the exact video time
helo, may I know where's the video of drawing sprockets?
That is not available. To complete the tutorial you have to download the files of a sprockets and chain.
really beneficial.. and hard for me. but I'm trying..
Thanks for the nice comment. You should watch the modified version of this video that will easier to understand....
