- This is the way how I lube Electro Capacitive Keyboard.
Not only lubeb switchs but also tune stabilizer. In addition, I used foam under the PCB.
There is no sound of steel wire after tuned the stabilizer. Structure of the relationship, the sound of space key bottoming out is very loud. I used silicon film as a buffer.
Because the lubricated spring is easy to stick. Recommended to place it on a paper towel for easy peeling.
【About the space key noise】
Due to the structure of the keyboard, even if I tune the wire, the space bar still makes a lot of noise. So I put silicon film under the keycap pillar that did not touch the stabilizer stam. Its thickness is about 4mm, so the keycap will hit the silicone pad. Just like the state in the movie. There may be other ways, but this is the method I use.
Except for the space bar, I can get a quiet sound through the wire tuning.

鍵盤是幫一位朋友處理的，順手把過程記錄下來，也給有同樣需求的朋友一點參考。
照著影片方式來潤軸並不難。比較要注意的是上了油的彈簧容易沾黏，這次用的105有些多了，建議潤完還是倒在紙巾上較易於分開。
平衡桿調整後已無鋼絲聲，但由於結構的關係空白鍵的觸底聲有些吵。想到的處理方式是在下方墊了矽膠片。如此雖觸底手感較不乾脆，但這方式用在靜電容鍵盤上個人覺得手感上無違和，且整體聲音也比較趨於一致，給有同樣困擾的朋友作為一點參考。

Amazing, thank you for the detailed video. I had a hard time understanding the structure of the "switch" since I'm used to cherry style switches. From my understanding from top to bottom for Niz:
Top case
Plate
Housing
Stem
Dome sheet
Spring
PCB
Bottom Case

Excellent video, thank you very much for this. This helped very much with my first time lubing an EC keyboard from Niz! You wrote that you used foam under the pcb, do you mean in the bottom of the case? I tried cotton-fill in my Plum 68 but it did not really change the sound. What kind of foam did you use?
Very glad it‘s helpful to you. Yes, the location of the foam is below the PCB.
I just use PU foam for packaging. I think the effect will be better by using Poron foam.
Of course, you can try to use different materials, including towels or clothes that are not used ,or even try tape mod.

This is the 45-gram version. And it doesn’t affect the sense of tactile at all.
Hi, is there're anything that can harm the mainboard if we lube the spring (the EC spring that go with the dome or something that i dont know how to call it 😅). Btw, super nice tutorial, thank you.
Krytox will not damage the motherboard. There is no problem with this keyboard until now, don't worry.

I use 105 + 205 G2 mixed (1:1) for switch , 105 for springs,
and Super lube 21030 for steel wire.
潤靜電容的彈簧真的有需要嗎?
彈簧並不會因為按壓的上下推移與硬塑膠摩擦，反而我擔心潤滑油沾到矽膠膜會導致腐蝕或打滑
彈簧實際並沒有跟任何塑膠有接觸、接觸的是主板跟膠碗，潤彈簧並非減少它跟主板的摩擦(因為他基本不動)，主要是減少彈簧本身結構的摩擦增加順滑度。
當然需不需要潤都是依個人喜好、我自己彈簧是一定會去潤滑的。
另外、腐蝕問題還是看使用什麼樣的潤滑油，Krytox對塗料不會產生反應，280度下不會跟金屬有化學反應，用在鍵盤上基本沒有腐蝕的顧慮，鍵盤潤滑至今約三個多月，使用上並無任何問題。 以上、提供一點參考。

This is unrelated to the switches, but what are the stabilizers like? Can I replace them with other stabilizers? If so are they plate mount or PCB mount?
nonono sir, these are not your regular cherry mx style stab, so you can't replace them with plate mount or PCB mount mx stabs. They are just totally different.

I thought you could replace Costar stabs with a different brand of stabs. You cant?
There are many different co-star stabilizers from different manufacturers, but they all function the same. YMDK and other Chinese sellers usually have co-star stabilizers in stock if you need to replace yours. Cherr-MX style stabilizers is another thing alltogether, but those can indeed be upgraded to a better variant if prefered.@@hello_2221
Hi, what screw are you using to take apart the board?
In fact, it is not a special screw. It's just a separate piece of silicone glued to the screw.
This may be a small shortcoming in the design, but it does not affect the overall use.

用的是約5mm厚度的一般海綿，因為海綿可壓縮，所以空間影響不大，也可以用其他消音棉替代。
Thank you! I just lubed mine in a similar way that you did on my NIZ 87. Krytox is expensive in Japan, so I ended up using superlube multi-use synthetic oil for the springs for bag lube, and superlube 92003 + the liquid oil around the stems. Do you find any degradation of the membrane in the long term as it comes into contact with oil?
Superlube 92003 is fine on the switch, don't worry.
Where can I get the films for the stabilizer mod?
I made it by myself, you can use thick silicone tape instead.

@@benny668 There are several keycap posts under the space key, put the film under the unused keycap posts. And adjust the films to the proper thickness.
How long does the lube last?
Generally, it won't re-lubricate after once.

I have 35g and I like how light they are, although there were occasions, when I accidentally typed smth when my hand was lying on the keyboard. Would recommend them

那個是鐵氟龍膠帶、因為原本的底座存在明顯公差，敲擊時會有雜音，貼了膠袋等於把間隙填滿讓底座卡得更緊一些，這樣敲擊時就不會有多餘的雜音了。
