When it comes to Snowbikes, there are many questions that remain unanswered. Though the concept of snow bikes has been around for decades, it wasn’t until the last few seasons that the sport started to progress to the high-level we’re seeing today. The limits are being pushed further and further with each season seeing bigger lines, jumps and new terrain explored. At the tail end of the 2017 season, a crew of legends set out over the course of a few weeks to shred terrain both old and new and created a four-part series called ‘Powder Hounds.’
Join professional Snowbike rider Reagan Seig and Snowbike pioneer Brett Blaser in this episode as they take to the birthplace of snowbiking in central Idaho with freerider’s Ronnie Renner and Robbie Maddison.

The greatest part about this sport to me is the safety the snow adds. On tarmac or on dirt, if you do something wrong it's much more likely to hurt pretty bad and damage your bike too.

@@300zxdriver they are but not broad enough like a 4 stroke , 250 sx have 32 lbs/f of torque and a 450 is between 32 34

People ride 300 snowbikes and 500 and they are powerful enough

Born and raised Colordan who had a great time living in Idaho for a year. Beautiful state that reminds me of what Colorado used to be. I really hope the plague of locusts that are Californians stay away.

Don't these consume much more fuel like in for example motocross? Cause you're like constantly wide open and the entire rear drive is much more weight to move?

Good News dirtbike or in this case snowbikes dont have automatic gears available over 105 cc and these are 450 ccs
