WTF Moments In Speedway 4 is finally out now after a 5 year wait since the last one! Check it out here please guys, I hope you like it!! th-cam.com/video/_jDhw4guuOQ/w-d-xo.html
I grew up in Southern Calif. watching speedway every Friday night. Back then it was Rick Woods, Sonny Nutter, the Bast Brothers, Danny Becker, Billy Gray and Bruce Penhall. I totally have great memories of sitting in the 2nd turn, watching my parents cover their beers and us kids running around picking up tear-offs. I would love to take my husband and maybe my youngest daughter to a race when we go back to visit.
that's really cool, i grew up watching the Sheffield Tigers (UK premier league) and i always stood on the front stretch just past the tapes or in the 4th turn, love cheering on the Sheffield team great racing, great track, great atmosphere, love it
My family probably was in the first crowd at the Coast Mesa Speedway. I remember being super young, probably 8 or 9. It was every friday night, that is one of the best memories of my childhood actually. Late 1960s, into the 1970s. I went to a race as late as 1989 or so.
+Denise Mobers i used to go every Thursday since i was about 5 or 6 (12 years ago) but i cant afford to go as often now unfortunately, TV will do though lol
I have the good fortune to see this unique style of racing. Ever since I have dreamt about kicking out the rear end of my motorcycle. Thanks for posting this.
That'd be interesting to see, it would probably affect the slidability if they're too heavy. Modern ones tend to have the wheel as a perfect circle on the back so nothing can get trapped in it but if they can develop a light one for the front that might make sense

Safety Idea: spokeless Alloy wheels. So what if they're a bit heavier, footpegs & hands won't get caught in 'em. Wild stuff.
