  • My first time at the sticks of a WWII era M5A1 Light Tank at the Museum of American Armor. Filmed using GoPro Hero 9 cameras.
This particular tank was used in the production of a fictional movie called “Tank Girl”. It has since been restored to it’s original WWII military configuration, although with twin Chevy engines, rather than the original twin Cadillacs that wartime M5 and M5A1 Light Tanks had, so the starting procedure and several other small details of operation are slightly different than that of more original tanks.
I have to give a big “Thank you!” to all of my friends and colleagues at the Museum
Of American Armor for making it possible for me to crew, operate and maintain vehicles like this!

That looked cool nice camera views. Was it as easy driving it as it looked?
