- Fun tricks and agility with Nana the Border Collie. All of Nana's training is done through the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training.
It has been awhile since we last put up a new video; we hope you enjoy some of Nana's new tricks as well as her having fun doing agility. We have lots of plans for new videos!

Nana is The number one dog in this world.Definitely she is the most talented animal on this planet.
Nana loves both food and toys; however, she would leave a dish of tasty treats in a heartbeat to go chase a frisbee.

Nana is a purebred Border Collie. There is much diversity in the breed's coat, colour, eyes & ears, and overall body structure, due to BCs having been bred for their working abilities rather than their appearance. I have only seen a mere few Border Collies with the same face and body structure as Nana, and even then there have been many slight differences. There is no name for this particular kind of face.

2 weeks ago I adopted a dog from the shelter. And she had a broken hip and now is fully recovered and one back leg is shorter then the other. It turns out she LOVES to do agility. My Shih Tzu poodle cross also like agility. Any ways AMAZING work I love your videos

Do they ever try to do these things on their own? Such as closing open cabinet doors without you asking, cleaning up their mess, grabbing onto your leg in a hug? :P

When I created this channel, my only animals were Nana and Kaiser. I had started this channel for Nana's videos and was originally going to make another one for Kaiser; however, after posting the first "Cat vs Dog: A Trick Contest" video roughly 3 years ago (the video has since been remade) Kaiser became popular on Nana's channel, so I decided to share it with Kai's videos. Since then, I have brought many more animals into my life, though I decided I didn't want multiple channels for them all.
My border collie knows a ton of tricks that I taught him at 6 months-10 months. He's a year old currently, and now I'm seeing all these cool tricks. Think he's still young enough to learn? :)

I love your videos. I have a smart border collie puppy who knows a lot of tricks but I was wondering if you would make some videos on how to teach the more advanced tricks that you can't find in books like jumping on your feet or pivoting off a tree or wall.

How did you teach Nana all these tricks?! It's amazing :D
The clicker is used as a marker when teaching a new trick, so that the dog knows precisely which behaviour he is getting rewarded for. Once the dog masters the trick, the clicker is no longer needed.

@Katycatkins123 The dog training DVD will have multiple trick training tutorials on it and will be available for sale on our website when it is complete. A few of the tutorials that will be on the DVD will be featured here on TH-cam so that audiences can get a feel for what the DVD will be like. :)

Wow, your dog is so focused on you. I will be getting a border collie pup eventually and i was wondering how you get your dog to focus on you. My beagle only really listens to me when i have food, but even then she sometimes doesn't. I want my new dog to be better trained, as well as to help my beagle learn too so if you could help me I'd really appreciate it. I love your pets, they are awesome. How you can train them to do pretty much anything is incredible. I want to be a good trainer like you
Nana can jump as high as 1 meter (40 inches), although I like to keep the jumps much lower for her when she is running a course.
talented the dog... and talented the owner, that can teach all these awesome and amazing tricks... but I' ve got a question... how do you teach the dog walking only with front paws?? (sorry if I made mistakes... I' m italian)
