that song is so hard. its incredible it turned out to be that, i was not expecting that. i love the lore added in the cutscenes aswell. i also love in cooling the spotlight effects and the new arrow colors. plus, the glitcher remix really does fit the new virus hex

Who would think Hex, an underdog when it came to difficulty ever since he released, would be harder than some hard mods?
That's the thing. There isn't anyone in that spectrum. I think the one thing people flop with the most at all is coordination with notes, and with your notes having a damn dance party, good note coordination is extremely difficult, if not impossible.
tips for you people that still havent beaten this: - focus on the double hold notes for the jump notes - the right notes is easy. try to recover your health on those parts - another easy part is what i call the lag scrolling. listen to bf's vocals and sync it with the arrows - try memorizing the chart in the part where the notes start disappearing. its pretty easy to do so
This tip is kinda useful to some people, tho those arent really gonna help that much, theres 5 types of chart movements, 1.overjumping charts (unreadable 2.beat charts (readable i guess) 3.right charts (readable) 4.stopping one at a time charts (readable) 5.disappearing charts (readable if you have good brain memorization, and timing) The 3 4 5 ones are pretty easy but the first 2 are the problem, they are impossible to read and focus on doubles doesnt help neither

Another easy is when the strike lines start merging around each other. The hardest part for me is when the arrows start vanishing when about to get to the strike line.
I think hex is the only OG mod of a original character that has survived to get a update Edit: Hex whitty zardy and tricky, they are the OG mods ok and tricky and zardy aren't oc's Second edit: I didn't count Carol Sunday and Tabi because carol and sunday didn't have as much impact in FNF as the others i think, and tabi came much later after the others
Hex was the first FNF mod I ever played. I was screaming "Fuck You" to that IRIS virus the whole time, and when Hex started crying in the ending cutscene it warmed my heart because I was the one who kept retrying and finally took down the virus and saved him. I wouldn't have been able to save him if he hadn't introduced me to FNF modding, which lead to me improving as a player and finally coming back to save my boy Hex once again. Thank you YingYang for creating such a masterpiece.
I've been trying to beat this for almost an hour now. Had to do 20 resets so far. Will update later Edit 1: 1:02am - 1/1/22 - 32 resets. Still making progress though! I suck at the lagging arrows. Used this video for a reference to how far I am, and I'm almost 2 mins in so that's something! Edit 2: 1:50am - 42 resets. Apparently there's just one small section where the arrows just continuously go up and down and some arrows overlap (or at least I think they do?? It's hard to keep track of everything) but you get a lot of notes and it's hard to see them. I am GOING to BEAT THIS Edit 3: 2:06am - 47 resets. I DID IT! I just mashed through the part mentioned above I was struggling with and I finally did it. jesus christ. Hex went from one of the chillest mods to one of the most painful ones lmao In all seriousness: I found the charting itself to be fun! I took like 5 min breaks when I felt like it, so I wasn't too frustrated. The modchart itself can be annoying at some parts, but I eventually got the hang of most of it. It's just a sudden change that you need to get used to because the first song is so chill and upbeat and this song can cause some serious rage. I still think this mod is amazing and the amount of effort put into it is insane If anybody's struggling, be patient, take breaks when necessary, and eventually you'll get through it. I found that paying attention to the arrow colours really helps in the parts where it gets really crazy :)

When I first tried the modchart I left the mod a little frustrated cause this I was NOT expecting from the Hex mod. I returned today and beat it in about an hour! Very fun modchart that adds so much to the song its crazy. Love it and now I can actually enjoy the song!

in all fairness, the MFM Drama wasn't bad charting specifically. It was people frustrated at a horrible custom engine despite several easier to use engines being made available. Then an update came out that was essentially the creator venting all of their frustration onto random players and essentially telling them to go fuck themselves. That's honestly all the Selever was. I don't condone death threats, but jesus that mod had a lot of issues.
