Also a lnsult to Count Basie watching a amateur lead his orchestra like he knew what he was doing
Basie's band knew their charts and it didn't matter what Jerry Lewis did up there as a clown. I'm sure Basie was simply doing his part and putting up with Lewis's antics to help raise money for the telethon.

Watched the Show every year from about 1981-2010
Missed 1991 and 1992 because I was living on a island off the coast of Italy. Anyhow I also donated every year to MDA. But that all stopped after MDA let themselves get dictated to by a small group of u ungrateful Jerk s who bitched for years about how Jerry Lewis portrayed them on the show every year and they got
MDA to Run Lewis off the Air after 2010.65+years of service and they kicked him to the curb like he was A bum. An Outrage and I never sent MDA another penny
