A few years ago when my son and his wife were living in Austin, he took me to try Salt n Lick barbeque and to this day that is the BEST I've ever had, even the potatoes were amazing.. Thanks for another great video.
Austin is my hometown, but it’s not the same, sold my house, sold my barbershop and got the hell out. 80s and 90s Austin was the best. Now it’s full of people trying to hard to be different.
The reason I like your vids so much is that you emphasize on the relaxed lifestyle that comes along with biking, not the irrelevant specs of high class machines no one can afford. Keep on going!
Born and raised in Texas, the Hill Country around Austin speaks to my soul. Salt Lick is one of my favorite places anywhere. Glad you got to experience some of the greatness!
Nearly circumnavigated North America just rode from Cali thru the Canadian Rockies back to East Coast. 10k+ miles in all getting out of that learners curve so to speak. Thanks for all the inspiration - best wishes for you and family
Good to have you back Jamie. I realise that this was filmed before your accident, so I hope that both you and Barry are well along the road to recovery and that we have more biking, travel and food videos to look forward too!
This was a great video! The videography and editing are first rate, and the content is really interesting. I attended that race too (rode a Panigale from California there and back) but didn’t see the other attractions. I’m taking notes for next year! Hope Jamie and his friend are recovering well.
Hope you are mending up well. Always love your content, especially when it features my hometown. Due to my intimate familiarity with Austin, I did LOL when you referenced a ride across town to get from Allens Boots to the Handbuilt show...a mile up the same street...just razzin' you a bit. Keep up the awesome work!
That's the 3 taco breakfast special from Juan's. He's being a putz and making a huge mess for no reason instead using the 3 tortillas that come with it.
Heh. The Texas capitol building is not the tallest. It's not even close. Texas - 311 ft Florida - 322 ft Kansas - 326 ft Illinois - 361 ft Nebraska - 400 ft Louisiana - 450 ft
So many of the tracking shots are glitchy.. wish you guys could get that figured out with whatever TH-cam is doing to it. They're always such a nice shots. Heal up Jamie!
Great video! I need to kick myself in the butt, gear up, and get out there! But first I need to buy a motorcycle, cuz my PCX150 won't cut it...... Hope you heal up quickly
There ain't shit brilliant about Austin. A mayor that thinks he is Caesar, a city council devoid of divergent voices and opposition to their socialist agenda, legions of bums and illegal aliens, thanks to covert, sanctuary city policies, incessant and horrendous traffic, skyrocketing taxes and cost of living, etc.
@@traeucity6087 absolutely right brother. Born and raised here and couldn't stand the bullshit anymore that ruined Austin. Had to move to Bastrop. And now it's slowly making it's way here.
Before, we are usually a few months ahead as there is lots of time that goes into postproduction/editing, this was filmed around 10days before the accident.

Good time to cash out. Prices are insane there.
As an Austinite I can say you truly captured the authentic Austin motorcycle culture!

Nice to see you up and about. Safe riding.
The salt lick is now on my bucket list cause of the Tardis. And well the food.
Amazing and mouth watering tour. The Bobber, the city, you and that jacket are just made for each other. :-)
Happy to see that you're doing better than ever!
Glade to see you back up and riding!
You did Texas "justice" with that excellent video. It seems your weekend, other than times, mirrored mine except for McKinney Falls. :-)
A few more burgers and you will as right as rain. Good to see you are on the mend.
Get well soon!
You have a lot of life to share with us and we look forward to it!
I'm sure the little one is itching to ride with Dad too!

Wow we were looking for you at the Moto GP and Handbuilt Show but we went Friday night. Great time.
I’ve been living in Texas a little more than a month now and have yet to try bbq, the Mexican food has kept my stomach captivated lol

Great video as ever. Hope you are feeling better and able to get out and about.
That locale looks interesting and fun.
Great video, Great times - hope you are recovering well mate !
Love Texas BBQ and Motorcycles 🏍.
Are you full recovered Jamie?
No, unfortunately not, MRI scans showed 3 fractures in my wrist, plus elbow and finger, more healing time needed.
@@motogeo Thinking of you almost everyday. Hang in there!
Hang on man 👍
How' Barry doing?
I don't see him crashing in this video, what are you talking about?
these videos are amazing.
Hope you enjoyed your stay! Come on back sometime
Jamie! Hope you're better! Glad you're back man 🤟🤟
That's enough food for 2-3 people! :)
That's the 3 taco breakfast special from Juan's. He's being a putz and making a huge mess for no reason instead using the 3 tortillas that come with it.
Neutron Pixie judging by the accent, I don’t think he knows any better.
How is your friend Barry recovering?
GOD BLESS TEXAS 🙏🇺🇲
Love your videos, Jamie; keep doing what you're doing, hermano!
Thanks bro
Too bad you did not get to ride new 2020 several nice upgrades to make it look old school more.
Man I really miss your videos Jamie. I hope you are recovering well.
Me thinks this was a pre accident video, great content as usual ! Hope you and your friend are on the mend .
Thanks for Amazing video . Good steak good motorcyle =good life

People suck. Even my small channel, I have 1 idiot that gives me a thumbs down on everything.
Oh boy those ribs! One day i will visit texas just for those ribs :D!

Texas - 311 ft

Who the hell can dislike this video? 🤷♂️
Hey buddy how are you healing up.is this a current video?
So many of the tracking shots are glitchy.. wish you guys could get that figured out with whatever TH-cam is doing to it. They're always such a nice shots.
Heal up Jamie!
You need to head back to Isle of Man tt and do a video!
Really? Another one? Didn't the last one cover it well enough? th-cam.com/video/b7wijqBW1MI/w-d-xo.html
if Mark Wien could also ride a motorcycle haha
Hi, i'm Kenyan i love the music playing and stopping in the video. Which one is it?
Humm..... noticed you were on a different bike at 4:12? Looked like an Indian mirror? Wonder what it was?
Great video! I need to kick myself in the butt, gear up, and get out there! But first I need to buy a motorcycle, cuz my PCX150 won't cut it...... Hope you heal up quickly
When are you going to do a ride on that FTR 1200 and give us a review?

@@traeucity6087fair enough... I've only ever visited but I'd like to submit 9th Street BMX trails as being brilliant. And The Side Bar.

what's your arai helmet model name?
Had to stop watching until after dinner as I'm starving and you're eating breakfast tacos is making it worse..
Dammit, now I want some Salt Lick BBQ. Good thing I'll be back to visit home in less than a month.
Great vid Jamie,, but have to say ,that would not be my choice of bike!!!
sooo im here for the bobber....
I would LOVE to visit Austin. It's such a great place. ❤
Austin is the best city in TX, no contest. That said, The Salt Lick is not even in the top 10 BBQ joints in Central Texas
Nice jacket Jamie, what make is it, glad to see you looking better lad 👍
Alpinestars Oscar Charlie Tech-Air Jacket, awesome!
Lone Star
Lol freaking dream job
Was this before or after your injuries? Hope you're feeling better.

@@motogeo Okay I understand. I hope recovery is going well, let us all know.
So.. how'd ya like the FTR?
Love it!!
I didn't like it....... I LOVED IT!!
When I see anybody eating in public with their hat on, I smack them.
i like it
BBQ 🤤
Its funny how the greengoes have the strenge idea of the taco.
😍
Amazing videos, it will be great if you can put subtitles in spanish, saludos desde Mexico
👌
Louisiana has the tallest capital building, not Texas
“Howdy Captain “ l
Pinche juca esta en todas partes😂
Jamie, why aren't you riding the bobber at 4:13?? The bike you're on has a windscreen and the mirrors aren't hanging below the end of your grips.
Tell those TExans to keep their storms down there. So far all of them have come north and gave us tornado's and floods.
The ftr 1200 its more your style
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇹🇷
100th comment🤣🤣🤣🤣
1st time watching. Just subbed. Very cool trip.
