I absolutely refuse to die being a dishonest man with others. It's not what I want my life about. I don't get super upset very often when others are dishonest with me either. People have a right to be who they choose to be. Why do I let myself off the hook though? Do I not value myself as much as I value others? If so, how do we increase the desire to value ourselves enough to more quickly build integrity?

Wow I was not expecting this at all, but I am glad I saw this thank you so much. I have issues with my self integrity. You are the second person that has told me to go ahead and jump and go for it. Thank you so much

Ones own experience should not determine how others should lead their lives and choose what their standards, principles, and values are.

I think integrity is the kind of word that not too many people are really sure what it means! I've always really been into creative stuff. I'd like to be able to write books and songs, and I've always been into acting and music, and I love to sing. My life has been somewhat messed up, because I also have had problems with severe depression since my early 20s, and I know I'm a very sensitive empath, and I've had a lot of difficulty just trying to keep a regular job. I think the main issue I have is really having to work well with other people. I tend to be quiet and introverted, and I will stuff my feelings until I'm ready to explode. Having to constantly be around negative and draining coworkers, it just wears away at me. And most jobs out there involve working with people in some way. I'm very frustrated with myself, I always try to do a good job and be polite to customers and I don't slack off or goof off, but I have all this anxiety where eventually, it builds up to where I feel like I have to quit. I sadly have not held any job for longer than 3 years, and I'm currently surviving on disability, and I really want my life to be better than what it is.

Hope you're doing well a year on! I relate to everything you've said and have found that working as a Packaging Technician has been amazing for my temperament (also sensitive and empathic). If you haven't already I recommend finding a job where you can focus on the task and not worry about needing to make conversations 😊

What if some impersonator has been meeting and talking to various people in your place and has ruined your image completely, how will you rebuild your worth and with whom all ?

What is Integrity to you then Kirk?
Why don't you offer pro-bono coaching to people on skid road like you said you were on, kind of giving back to the community for the graces you have now? Just a thought, I believe in "Pay it forward"
