I totally agree! She’s young and has power, height, and ability. She needs to work on her passing as teams will target her. Overall, she’s better than #10, who seems like a good team player but simply cannot score and has been the team’s major weakness. China needs a second tall and powerful OH and #21 could be that player.

She played well in the recent Universiade Games.
Unfortunately that coach was very reserved who still prefered the no 10 who was a bit clumsy n couldn't jump high to spike! 😕
If the number 21 player had played instead of the number 10 player in the previous games, China could have qualified for the Olympics...
#21 is definitely a rising star with potential to be one of the key players in her team. The outcome could have been changed if she replace #10 in the first place.

I was thinking the same, #21 is explosive... why does the coach prefer #10 so much? Even in vnl and the previous matches of the qualification, #21 barely played even though #10 made so many mistakes.

Guidetti did the responsible thing by rotating his squad more, especially after qualifying for Paris. I feel for some of these Chinese players who have had to play every single game for the whole length and not get enough time to recover. No team likes to lose of course, but this was a great chance for Serbia to improve on themselves without the helping hand of Boskovic. Congrats to China for the win and hopefully you make it to the Olympics next year ❤🇨🇳🇷🇸
What was the purpose? It was the last match, no need to rest anyone. With this defeat Serbia lost 8.44 points, dropping two positions in the world ranking. Again, what was the purpose?
@@59vlada Of course I do not know the real purpose, just my speculation. After overworking Boskovic these past few days, she deserves a much needed rest. The Turkish league is starting soon. At least Melissa Vargas has multiple players that can consistently support her in the offense. Boskovic has more burden to carry for her team when they are not able to score. If you look overall, there is not much to be gained from winning this match with the starting lineup. Their sole purpose in this tournament was to qualify for the Olympics, which they did already. Guidetti gets to test out players that didn't really get time on court to determine his roster for next year. Again, this is just a guess.
@@Rin-ns8tk Those are just rationalizations, and if you want, you can rationalize anything, especially if you are biased (Vargas has multiple alternatives?!!). FYI sports are played for winning and rankings, not for resting the best. Turkey was already qualified too, more convincingly so than Serbia, yet they could play with their best team against Belgium, but Serbia have to rest their best? One of the purposes of this new FIVB scoring system is to prevent this kind of dodging the sport spirit and the spectators. If you have challenging matches ahead, at least there is a reason for doing it. The only thing "gained" here is dropping two spots lower in the world rankings.
@@59vlada Woah woah chill bro. I am not sure what team you are supporting, but I am supporting multiple countries such as Türkiye, Serbia, Italy, Poland, Dominican Republic, China, Brazil, etc.. Of course every team wants to win every game and I am not saying Guidetti purposely did this to lose. China is a very strong team to play against and Serbia had to have Boskovic and the middles at full strength in order to beat them last time at the VNL. When you are a coach, you have to think about the condition of your players as well. Santarelli was also letting his starting players get more rest after a long week of matches. It is difficult on the body to play high level matches with very little recovery time. The chances of Türkiye losing to Belgium were close to zero. Winning is important in every sport, but it is a coaching strategy rather than a sportsmanship issue when it comes to choosing which players go on the court. I also understand your point of view and it is valid, but I was just sharing mine 😑

China es un equipo fuerte, no es dependiente de una jugadora como lo son la mayoría de los equipo, Serbia sin Bosković no es nada, sin embargo China tiene buenas centrales, las bandas y la opuesta son jugadoras muy versátiles, pueden recibir y defender muy bien.
China con las número 21 con Li, Góngora y esas centrales puede llegar muy lejos

Well, Serbian team already qualified after 6st round. This was more like a friendly game, so it's not just Boskovic, but also Stefanovic and Jegdic - didn't even entered the match. And Maja Ognjenovic just played in the 1st set. Regardless - when Ognjenovic is setting, even without Tijana The Boss, Serbia takes an set.
It was good opportunity for a Serbian bench to play. Glad that both youngsters, 19y Uzelac, most definitely but this time finally - 19y old Kurtagic, our new MB, used this chance well..
Just to tell in advance:
We will definitely send one mixed team, with a lot of youngsters and new players on next VNL in 2024, as we already qualified for Olympics this will be a chance for youngsters to debut on international stage, since that is our volleyball association strategy.
Only majors matters, VLN is more like a trial for a national senior team..

王雲蕗的一傳和接球都比吴夢潔强，但扣球打不死，是一大弱點。吳夢潔扣殺力很强，跳動力比王强，但接球，一傳較王弱，勝在是年青，在這方面可以努力，進步。未來，吳應該是可以取代王在首發位置上。
還有，自由人王夢潔和倪非凡可以輪流上場，一方面可以互補不足，又免一個體力透支。在兩埸的5局比賽，王夢潔一人累死了，影响接球和救球的速度。

Lol Serbia won the first set while Maja and Lozo were playing. After that, Guidetti made exchanges and Serbia lost. For most of the match, it was Serbia B team against China A team. Plus, Serbia didn't care about this match at all since they already qualified.
No bad intentions. I was just surprised, because the same goes for other countries as well. Without Boskovic Serbia is losing, without Egonu Italy is losing, without Vargas Türkiye would lose too. The cross setter has the most effective role in the match, so a match without a strong cross setter is meant to be lost. Every match has it’s importance, as it makes the team lose points, so even if the ticket to Paris was saved, I don’t think it was clever from Guidetti to keep Boskovic out. Just saying.

So, today was more like a friendly game between us.
As for "more practice" - It's our 3rd coach in last 3 years (Terzic, Santorelli, Guidetti), and girls successfully adapted to all the changes and challenges, winning gold at World championship again and silver on European, few weeks ago, again.
They've been overburdened since May 2023 with competing on international stage, practically immediately after club season, without a day rest..
This is their successes as Serbia qualified.
Let the others, who didn't, practice more..
And, just a few words about Dominicana:
DR is NORCECA 2023 champion for a reason, third time in a row, defeated USA team few weeks ago in the Final.
They have a great generation, I've been watching them for some time, now, and those main players, Gonzales, Martinez sisters, Pena .. are tall, fast, powerful, technically perfect and now very experienced, matured plus they have such a bonus in Castillo, amazing libero, NORCECA 2023 MVP.
They are very confident and they reached a high level of consistency, smth they lacked before.
That's why Dominicana qualified for Paris 2024 on this tournament, and many others, like China, Japan (so far) - failed.
Don't know for how long are people like you gonna underestimate Dominicana team.
