Thanks, great video..i got confused with instructions as shows how to fit just the tank and one to fit just the filter but not how to merge it together..i had an idea in the end but watching your video confirmed what i needed to do..great video
Hi thanks, how much did you charge to fit the cooker tap? How much to fit sink and plumb in? I'm newly self employed and have a cooker tap and 2 kitchen sinks to plumb in and haven't a clue what to charge
Decent install fella. Only gripe and seems all you guys fit knuckle waste bends instead of swept bends , wait till you haveto go back and clear a blocked waste with those bends. Have fitted a few quookers on the early versions they used to have an overflow/prv from them which proved problemsome especially if you have an internal kitchen sink unit not on an outside wall. Or if the waste sits higher than the unit. Had to fit one of these on a fireclay sink and tne tap wouldnt sit square dueto the glaze of tne fireclay finish so gne tap looked p155ed. I think id prefer a larger base ring around these taps as some sinks have a larger hole plus it gives you more peace of mind tnat no water is going to creep under the base of the tap. I think these are good units but do tend to scale up quicky especially in brighton where im based so i can see these having a short life span especially anything that serves boiling water. Might have seen your truck flying around haywards heath hassocks area on the idd occasion as we do lots of work around those areas. Keep up the good work fella niceto see you young uns doing decent tidy work, ive nearly done 50years on tne tools so time to pass the torch over to you guys i think. Soo much easier now tnan when it was when i was your age . Still its all relative..
I could have used 2 swept bends but I didn’t have any, the 2 knuckle bends I used are the only 2 bends internal as the waste runs song the bottom of the wall straight into soil stack 👍🏻 I know the old ones with the prv were a pain and definitely weren’t a great feature. Yeah I work Haywards, hassock and burgess hill so you’ll always see me about! Thankyou!
You can add an option for a filter to be fitted for filtered drinking water. If you want softened boiling water then you’d need to talk to quooker directly
Liam great work mate but i have a problem with mine i have had it for about 9 years it a 01 Basic handle tap you just push it down and turn, but now it leaks every time i turn it on and hot water and steam leaks allover my work top. I know its a seal or wash wanted but i can not see how the handle comes off ? now trying to get in touch with quooker is a nightmare ? I even tried to book a service on line but the time slot is the end of June 2024 by then one of us will end up getting burned. I have searched the web to find how to removed the handle because Quooker have not answered my emails and no susses from the internet any help would be much appreciated. Regards peter
Out of interest mate, what would you charge to install an instant hot tap, Gave a customer a price to fit one and they looked at check trade and said you can have them fitted for £45. So I said to them please go and get it done for £45😂
Top video mate!

If i have separate pipe for softened cold water and mains cold water. How do you context this?
Thanks for this. We're getting a new kitchen soon and it's interesting to see how the Quooker tap goes in. And how to use it :)
Great video, thanks!

Followed all instructions. No filter water coming through. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any advice
Best advice is to contact quooker directly. Hope that helps
Can you have a 2 cold supply’s? One soften water for the hot function and normal supply for drinking??

How much would you charge for this job

Genuinely keep on trying with quooker. There’s no advice I can give I’m afraid as it’s a job for a quooker engineer 👍🏻
Fitting the Qettle boiling tap is much easier for doing it yourself and a lot cheaper!
Can these fit in sink pan drawers please
No not enough room unfortunately

Some people are jokers mate 😂
All depends on what’s involved, can also be area dependent aswell! But yeah no way would it be £45… not in a million years 🤣🤣
@@liamtheplumber I think £250 to £300 is a fair price
Aesthetically, poor from the company leaving their name on the tap 🙆♂️Plenty of branding underneath the sink. Great work buddy 👊
Ok Karen
