- This past weekend we took a trip to the CSA card show in Chantilly Virginia. This is our third time at this show and it has quickly become one of our favorite card shows to attend. I have a BIG question I hope you answer… You seem to be buying cards at comps in this trade night.. most dealers buy cards at like 60/70% comps… and I understand how they make a profit... how can you buy cards at recent comps and make a profit as a card shop owner ?? Its a burning question i have also on people saying they buy a card and they sell to a dealer at a show for a profit.. how can they profit when the dealer is only paying 60/70% of comps ? a burning question I’d love an answer to
