- In today’s episode of Quick Tip Tuesday, I highlight a question asked by user Civil DK "I wanna add to my collection of porcelain Overflow proof sink and tub with an "overflow proof" or "NON-overflow" toilet. Recommendations? Comments? Jokes? Specifications? I plan on spending close to $1500 for renovation of 3 toilets. BTW.. I'D RECOMMEND.. woman and children ONLY should have/ purchase/ use, "round toilets". Go ahead, have a seat on that last model there, and IMAGINE where things, line up. What's your father in law think of 'round toilets'?"

Very instructive, thanks. For some weird reasons, all the household toilets in my home country India are round shaped by default, which is annoying to say the least because of the dangly anatomical organ that u mentioned. This bad decision while choosing the toilet should get changed in India ASAP!

I'm a female and I like round toilets maybe because I'm short-legged and feel like I'll get swallowed up by the elongated kind, if that makes sense.
I prefer elongated toilets, but if you have a small thumbprint in your bathroom, sometimes you don’t have a choice ….. and you need to go with a round toilet.

For a non-overflowing toilet, isn't it logical that a 1.28 or 1.0 gg flush, would be much _less_ likely to overflow, since a normal flush cycle would be less than the amount of liquid required to over-fill the bowl?
Dave, do you have any videos for drawer dishwasher and which models you recommend? If not would please please please be able to make a video around that?
I do not however the only company that I'm aware of that is making them is Fisher & Paykel (or their sister company DCS). Kitchenaid tried to make their own and it was a spectacular failure. F&P has it figured out.
@@RemodelMedia I am seeing on a lot of tiny house videos that people are using Vesta - but not sure how good that is. F&P defy seems to be the best
I googled that model and I keep getting redirected to RV appliance sites. I can see how it would be useful in that application or in a tiny home.

The 2 diagrams you showed were 1.5 inches difference. How does that 1.5 inches help anything? I dislike elongated and handicap height toilets as well.

Agree. Before I knew there was such a thing as "elongated," I just assumed the round ones were "how it is." But, I have to admit, not touching the porcelain with my "parts" is definitely better-more sanitary.
