I'll focus my criticism on the negative aspects, considering that this is produced by the largest network in the Philippines. The acting could be improved; it often comes across as cheesy and cringeworthy. The costume design needs an upgrade-it has a 90s vibe that doesn't fit the current era. The CGI could be more polished, and the overall setup of the control centers needs a modern touch. I apologize if my standards seem high, but it's 2024, and I have a lot of love for this anime that I grew up watching. On the bright side, I'm really fond of the theme song's cover by Julie Anne San Jose. It's giving me goosebumps listening to it, and the Voltes V robot's aesthetic is spot-on. Kudos to Noel Layon Flores for the incredible design!
The transformation only takes 20 seconds as the director said. The Volt-in Sequence also have ultramagnetic force that the villain can not penetrate, you should watch the other beast fighter that messes with the Voltes V robot. They successfully messed up the Volt-in Sequence hence the team fled the fight and resumed once they successfully volts-in.

That is the reason why there is a so called "dubbing". You should wait for your dub version than bashing how they talk because it is a bit disrespectful. There is a reason in it why they speak that way. Modern Filipino uses Taglish (tagalog + english). It is to separate the culture for these 2 races. Terra Erthu uses Taglish and Bozanian uses pure tagalog.
We can't help but say it in English (Tagalog-English) because we are capable of doing it every day. English is our second language, and we sometimes use it as a daily language, so just accept it.

I think you will wait for the dubbing they will provide maybe soon. I saw japanese dub and it sounds good because I also admire japanese voice actors. Maybe English will be next.
This version of the classic Voltes V portrays the five heroes as over-confident arrogant jerks. I'm surprised with this change of character attitude. Graphics not bad. But acting of most of the main characters, both protagonists and antagonists, are very poor. The cartoon characters should win awards compared to the performance of these real-life people.

Otros gráficos me gustan. La actuación le doy un 50 % pero bueno, en fin. Amo a Voltus. Felicidades por la serie y por resucitarlo.
This is what you called criticism. Hands off on the CGI for this adoptation but the acting is not that giving. However, this is first time for PH industry making this kind of film and it's a huge improvement for us. Sadly our fellow filipinos did not support this much. I am still supporting this project and being thankful that GMA made this project.
A lot of mecha movies has slow movement like even some Hollywood film like transformers etc. this is a live action.. anime can do all impossible tricks like jump higher lol 😅
