I don’t know if I’ve ever heard anyone say that about the will before but it’s something I needed to hear. I’ll never forget my daughter saying that she felt positive about changes were going to happen because I was one of the strongest persons she knew. I was in the process of coming back to faith and later regretted not saying anything to her about His strength, His wisdom, His Holy Spirit…..

I am not sure what Dallas's point is in the opening when he says that it is not the cross or forgiveness of sins that matters, but Christ's living presence. However, without the cross, resurrection, how can we possibly have the living Christ to be in relationship with. I agree that justification should be put out of our heads. What am I missing?

Dallas is brilliant, along with C.S. Lewis, NT Wright, and John Bergsma, he is opening my eyes to the salvation story and the Gospel in new ways. May he rest in peace and God bless him.

“Put out of our heads” - I think you nailed it and didn’t miss anything. I took it as him saying to take it out of the realm of the intellect.
